Reinforcement plates (32 and 42) are arranged in overlapping fashion and are provided with respective bolt holes (26 and 48) that are in registry with a bolt hole (26) of the doorjamb (16). The overlapped reinforcement plate structure provides improved strength and greater flexibility for ease of installation.
