The fiber bundle contains a bundle of unidirectional fibers comprising a plurality of fibers and void space between the fibers. The point bridged fiber bundle contains a plurality of bridges between and connected to at least a portion of adjacent fibers, where the bridges contain a bridging material, between about 10 and 100% by number of fibers in a given cross-section contain bridges to one or more adjacent fibers within the point bridged fiber bundle, and the anchoring surfaces of the bridges cover less than 100% of the fiber surfaces.

An exemplary transmitter system includes a forward path including a predistortion device coupled with an amplifier, the forward path configured for predistorting an input signal to the predistortion device in response to a phase error compensation signal and an amplitude error compensation signal in order to generate a desired output signal for the output signal of the amplifier, and a feedback path including a processor configured for generating the phase error compensation signal and the amplitude error compensation signal based on a comparison of the input signal with phase and amplitude information of the output signal of the amplifier, wherein the phase and amplitude information of the amplifier are transmitted to the processor on a single path of the feedback path. The magnetic material may be in the grate of the cook top, in the electric coil of an electric burner, in the surface of a smooth-top stove top, or any other component of the cook top which is in close proximity to the bottom of the cookware when it is placed on the cooking surface. When the cookware is placed on the stove top, the magnetic field of the permanent magnet creates a force on the magnetic material biasing the cookware against the stove top and securing the cookware to the cook top.

The outlet manifold collects and distributes compressed refrigerant from the compression units. In another embodiment, a second valve is mounted externally of the second intake manifold to regulate flow into the second intake manifold, and the first and second valves are operated by a controller. The controller activates the first valve with variable width pulses having intervals less than an operating inertia of the refrigerant compression circuit.
