  • Patent number: 7407069
Abstract: A fishing stringer is structured with multiple fishing related tools integrated into a tether and an elongated member of the stringer. Specifically, the elongated member acts as a standard retention bar, while also providing a hook disgorger tool at a first end, and a fishing line cutting tool at a second end. Similarly, the tether acts as a normal stringer' tether, while also incorporating a measuring capability along a substantial length of the tether. Once the tether and stringer are deployed, each of the integrated tools, including the line cutter, the disgorger, and the measuring tape, are also thereby fully available for convenient and immediate use—without any risk of being dropped and lost. This abstract is provided to comply with rules requiring an abstract, and is submitted with the intention that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope and meaning of the claims.
