  • Patent number: 11939182
Abstract: A hand tool is provided for removing a secondary liner from a tape carrier of a two-sided adhesive tape where the opposing primary side of the tape carrier is attached to a surface. The hand tool includes a handle. One end of the handle may include a handle fulcrum depending from the handle. A plurality of sharp points together define a mathematical line. The plurality of sharp points also define point axes which together define a mathematical plane. The mathematical line is coincident with the mathematical plane. The mathematical plane defines an acute angle with respect to the handle and to the handle fulcrum.

  • Patent number: 7227455
Abstract: An mileage communication system for a vehicle, such as a trailer, is disclosed. Mileage data is communicated to a processor by a sensor. The processor calculates cumulative mileage and encodes the mileage data into a code, such as an ON-OFF code, that is capable of being communicated to an output device. The vehicle operator may activate a user interface that is capable of generating a request signal to be sent to the processor. Upon receipt of the request signal, the processor communicates the code to the output device. In response to the code from the processor, the output device communicates a visual or audible signal, such as an ON-OFF signal, that is capable of being received by the vehicle operator or other user. The signal corresponds to the cumulative mileage data.

  • Patent number: 7116096
Abstract: A tone ring preferably for use in a braking system of a vehicle has a first pattern of excitation indicative of speed of rotation of the tone ring, and a second pattern of excitation including frequency variations that is indicative of direction of rotation of the tone ring. The tone ring is rotated past a sensor, preferably a 2-wire passive sensor. A series of events are sensed during rotation of the tone ring past the sensor. The timing of occurrence of the events is detected and, on the basis of the timing detection, the direction of rotation of the tone ring is determined.

  • Publication number: 20040090114
Abstract: A trailer ABS diagnostics display system utilizes an output device to communicate specific ABS diagnostics information to a user located within the tractor cab in the form of ON-OFF code data. The system preferably includes wheel velocity sensors, at least one brake pressure modulator, an output device, a user interface which generates a user request signal, and an electronic control unit that is connected to the wheel velocity sensors, the brake pressure modulator, the output device, and the user interface. The electronic control unit generates the ON-OFF code data which is indicative of a diagnostic condition in response to the user request signal. The ON-OFF code data is transmitted to the output device for communication to the user located with the tractor cab.
