    Abstract: Disclosed is a gas turbine engine rotor disc with a plurality of cooling passages having an essentially radial orientation relative to an axis of rotation of the rotor disc, each cooling passage having an inlet and an outlet and being included relative to a rotor disc surface and a cut-out arranged at the passage at an outlet end of the passage. Each cooling passage terminating in a slot is arranged in the periphery of the rotor disc. Each slot is sized and configured to receive a glade root.
