  • Publication number: 20060230992
Abstract: A work station with an adjustable height work surface includes a telescoping height adjustment mechanism. Stabilizers, spaced apart from the telescoping height adjustment mechanism, prohibit rotation of the work surface. A pair of guide members is attached to support walls by way of slides. The slides allow movement of the work surface vertically prohibiting rotational movement of the work surface. The workstation is provided with sidewalls allowing the workstation to be used with other pieces in modular configuration.

  • Patent number: 5530995
Abstract: A guide plate is positioned immediately downstream of the detaching rollers of the combing head in order to deflect the web upwardly towards a deflection plate which, in turn, deflects the web back towards a trailing section of the guide plate. The guide plate and deflection plate are electrically conductive and electrically connected to the machine frame of the combing machine in order to discharge the electrostatic charges in the web. A trailing edge of the guide plate may also be inclined to deliver the web to the delivery rollers. The distance between the nip clearance of the detaching rollers and the point at which the web contacts the inclined section of the guide plate is too short to permit jamming of a web due to the rigidity of the web.

  • Patent number: 5447738
Abstract: The invention concerns pre-proofed, frozen dough that display excellent ovenspring properties upon baking. Herefore, an additive is incorporated in the dough that imparts to a fresh dough specific properties, defined as increase in tan delta at 32.degree. C. and decrease in elastic modulus G' at 80.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5004198
Abstract: A fixture-mounting post useful to mount one or more fixtures. An elongate member defines fixture-mounting means comprising two oppositely facing longitudinal arrays of fixture-mounting slots. An elongate shroud having two protions is disposed around the elongate member. For each array of slots, two elongate edges of the shroud extend between both ends of the shroud and are spaced from each other to permit access to such array. A sleeve encloses a portion of the shroud at one end. A strip of resiliently compressible material is wrapped at least partly around the member and is compressed between the member and the enclosed portion of the shroud. A tight fit thus is effected between the enclosed portion of the shroud and the sleeve to secure the shroud to the sleeve. A method of assembling the post is also described.

  • Patent number: 4842833
Abstract: A method for separating barium contaminants from soluble strontium compounds comprising adding sulfuric acid and a basic strontium compound in solid, suspended or dissolved form to an aqueous solution of a barium-contaminated soluble strontium compound in controlled amounts with thorough stirring to maintain the pH of the solution between about 3 and about 10; removing solids which precipitate from the solution; and thereafter recovering a strontium compound having a decreased barium content from the solution. The method may be carried out continuously or batch-wise, and the sulfuric acid and basic strontium compound can be added in repeated alternating portions or continuously.

  • Patent number: 4066380
Abstract: The invention relates to a threading tool for internal threads with a cutter holder which is displaceably mounted on a cutter holder carrier shaft co-axial to the main axis of the rotatable tool which coincides with the thread axis during the cutting process, whereby the said cutter holder shaft is moved forwards and backwards periodically with the forward feed corresponding to the thread pitch in the direction of the main axis in the thread chasing operation by a cam control with a camshaft co-axial to the cutter holder shaft and rotating with a differential speed relative thereto, whereby through a corresponding radial displacement of the cutter holder the cutter is raised during return travel and in the thread chasing operation is set to engage lower and lower from one thread chasing operation to the next up to the final cutting depth.
