  • Patent number: 12255949
Abstract: A segmentation system includes a cluster of segmentation servers that interoperate to obtain and manage a segmentation policy for controlling communications between workloads in an administrative domain. The cluster of segmentation servers includes a leader segmentation server and at least one member segmentation server. The leader segmentation server controls policy generation and distributes the segmentation policy to the member segmentation servers. The segmentation servers are each optionally paired with a respective set of workloads. The segmentation servers each distribute descriptions of their respective paired workloads to the other segmentation servers. Each segmentation server processes the segmentation policy to generate management instructions for controlling communications to and from their respective paired workloads and distributes the management instructions to the operating system instances executing the workloads to enforce the segmentation policy.

  • Publication number: 20250065072
Abstract: The disclosure relates to medical tubes and methods of manufacturing medical tubes. The tube may be a composite structure made of two or more distinct components that are spirally wound to form an elongate tube. For example, one of the components may be a spirally wound elongate hollow body, and the other component may be an elongate structural component also spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body. The tube need not be made from distinct components, however. For instance, an elongate hollow body formed (for example, extruded) from a single material may be spirally wound to form an elongate tube. The elongate hollow body itself may in transverse cross-section have a thin wall portion and a relatively thicker or more rigid reinforcement portion. The tubes can be incorporated into a variety of medical circuits or may be employed for other medical uses.

  • Patent number: 12225056
Abstract: A segmentation server updates enforcement of a segmentation policy based on detection of core services. The segmentation server obtains characteristics of workloads and identifies workloads that provide core services using port matching, supervised learning based classification, semi supervised learning based classification, or a combination thereof. The segmentations server applies labels to workloads identified as core service providers indicative of the detection. Rules of the segmentation are distributed to enforcement modules based on the label sets of associated workloads to enable the enforcement modules to enforce the segmentation policy. Detection of core services reduces the likelihood of administrator inadvertently enforcing a policy that blocks essential core services.

  • Publication number: 20250033843
Abstract: A lid for a container including a lid body, a movable arm, a first magnet unit coupled to the movable arm, an actuator, and a second magnet unit coupled to the actuator. The actuator is movable between a first and second position. The movable arm is movable between a sealing position, in which a drinking opening of the lid body is sealed, and an open position, in which the drinking opening is not sealed. When the actuator is in the first position, at least one of a biasing force and an attractive magnetic force between the first and second magnet units hold the movable arm in the sealing position. When the actuator is moved toward the second position, a repulsive magnetic force between the first and second magnet units causes the movable arm to move toward the open position.

  • Patent number: 12204454
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for employing system probe filter aware last level cache insertion bypassing policies are disclosed. A system includes a plurality of processing nodes, a probe filter, and a shared cache. The probe filter monitors a rate of recall probes that are generated, and if the rate is greater than a first threshold, then the system initiates a cache partitioning and monitoring phase for the shared cache. Accordingly, the cache is partitioned into two portions. If the hit rate of a first portion is greater than a second threshold, then a second portion will have a non-bypass insertion policy since the cache is relatively useful in this scenario. However, if the hit rate of the first portion is less than or equal to the second threshold, then the second portion will have a bypass insertion policy since the cache is less useful in this case.

  • Publication number: 20240425395
Abstract: A charging system for charging a reactor with air used energy produced by the reactor and includes a vessel having a hollow interior cavity partially filled with a liquid slug, a first air pocket within the cavity on a first side of the liquid slug, and a second air pocket within the cavity on a second side of the liquid slug. The liquid slug forms a water trap seal in the cavity between the two pockets and moves within the vessel in a cycle in which gas is loaded into the first air pocket in a first stroke and gas in the first air pocket is compressed in a second stroke. Movement of the liquid slug during the second stroke is caused by an increasing pressure in the second air pocket due to introduction of high-pressure gas from the reactor into the second air pocket.
