  • Publication number: 20240103231
Abstract: Female fiber optic connectors having a weatherproofing collar disposed rearward of a connection port opening that receives a fiber optic plug along with cable assemblies comprising the female fiber optic connector and with methods of making the same. The female fiber optic connectors comprise an actuator such as a rocker latch arm or the like disposed under the weatherproofing collar used for releasing or securing an external fiber optic plug that may be received in the connection port. The weatherproofing collar protects the actuator such as the rocker arm latch and surrounding area from dirt, debris, moisture and the like from ingress into the connector. One or more end caps may be used with the weatherproofing collar. The weatherproofing collar allows for a ruggedized fiber optic connector having a quick connect and release mechanism for the external fiber optic plug connector mated to the female fiber optic connector.

  • Publication number: 20070181115
Abstract: A paintball marker is provided including a body, an inlet control device, a firing system, a first regulator and a second regulator. The body has a paintball inlet and a barrel for receiving a paintball from the paintball inlet. The inlet control device is movable between an open position wherein the inlet control device permits entry of a paintball through the paintball inlet, and a closed position for chambering a paintball. In the closed position the inlet control device prevents entry of a paintball through the paintball inlet. The firing system includes a firing valve that is moveable between a firing position wherein the valve permits firing gas at a selected pressure to flow to the barrel and a non-firing position wherein the firing valve prevents flow of firing gas to the barrel. The first regulator is fluidically connectable to the pressurized gas source and is configurable to provide gas at a first pressure.

  • Publication number: 20070039601
Abstract: A paintball marker is provided. The marker has a body, an inlet control device, a firing valve with a firing valve movable element, an actuator with an actuator movable element, a control valve with a control valve spool and a trigger. The actuator controls movement of both the inlet control device and the firing valve movable element. The control valve controls movement of the actuator movable element. The valve has at least three ports including an inlet port, a first outlet port and a vent port. The trigger is mechanically operatively connected to the control valve spool.

  • Publication number: 20060130822
Abstract: A loader apparatus for use with a paintball marker having a paintball inlet is provided. The loader apparatus includes a base attachable to the paintball marker, a cartridge removably attachable to the base, a motive means and a delivery conduit. The cartridge includes a chamber for paintballs. The chamber has a paintball outlet. The cartridge further includes a flow assistor. The motive means is operatively connected to the flow assistor when the cartridge is attached to the base. The delivery conduit is in flow communication with the paintball outlet of the chamber and with the paintball inlet of the paintball marker when the cartridge is attached to the base and the base is mounted to the paintball marker.

  • Publication number: 20050145235
Abstract: A paintball marker is provided including a body, a first pneumatic component, a second pneumatic component, a first control valve for controlling the flow of gas to actuate the first pneumatic component, a second control valve for controlling the flow of gas to actuate the second pneumatic component, and a trigger. The trigger is operatively connected to the first and second control valves. The marker is configured to reduce or eliminate the likelihood of a player releasing the trigger after only actuating one of the control valves.
