  • Publication number: 20220011042
Abstract: A refrigerated dispensing system is provided including an outer refrigerator cabinet and an interior, removable chassis that mounts a plurality of separately removable product storage and dispensing cartridges and a separately removable open-front product storage box. While the storage-box and individual cartridges are removably positionable within slots on one or more shelves inside of the chassis, the entire chassis (with storage box and cartridges positioned thereon) may be removed from the outer refrigerator cabinet. The open-front storage box is provided RFID product tracking for monitoring inventory of products stored within the storage box.

  • Patent number: 10657223
Abstract: A vending refrigerator for dispensing pharmaceutical products, such as vials, bottles, syringes, and the like, at a point of distribution, e.g., a doctor's office or pharmacy. The vending refrigerator comprises a first product dispenser for one type of packaging and a second product dispenser for a second type of packaging. The product can be removed from a dispenser drawer but cannot be placed back into the dispenser through the drawer. The product dispensers are filled through openings that are not accessible during normal operations, but that are accessible during refilling procedures. The refrigerator may include a shelf where products that are mistakenly pulled from the product dispenser or that contain multiple doses of their contents can be placed for temporary storage. In some embodiments, the refrigerator comprises a chilled compartment and a freezer compartment.

  • Publication number: 20170284732

While individual cartridges are removably positionable within slots on one or more shelves inside of the chassis, the entire chassis (with cartridges positioned thereon) may be removed from the outer refrigerator cabinet, as may be desirable in the event of a loss of power to the outer refrigerator cabinet. The shelves are preferably of a modular and reconfigurable design, thus allowing portions of the chassis (e.g., individual shelves or portions thereof) to be modified or replaced with alternative shelving or other storage devices to meet the current refrigerated product storage needs of any particular facility.

  • Patent number: 8475462
Abstract: The present invention provides a device for segmenting a bone. The bone is segmented in two cuts i.e. an initial cut and a final cut. While segmenting the bone, the device is clamped to the bone directly or with the help of a block attached to the bone. An initial cut is taken after the clamping is performed. An upper part of the device is then moved to a predetermined length and the final cut is taken. Thus, the device enables an accurate length of cut to be taken while segmenting the bone. The device also enables varied length of cuts to be taken while segmenting the bone.

  • Patent number: 8222455
Abstract: Viscoelastic compositions are disclosed herein containing an effective amount of one or more random or structurally defined polycationic quaternary ammonium compounds for controlling the viscoelasticity of the composition. In one aspect, the present technology provides polycationic quaternary ammonium compounds that comprise bis-quaternary compound. The bis-quaternary compounds of the present technology can be symmetric or dissymmetric. In another aspect, the present technology provides viscoelastic well bore treatment fluids comprising water, and at least one polycationic quaternary ammonium compound that comprises a bis-quaternary compound. In another aspect, the present technology provides polycationic carboxylates. Preferred viscoelastic compositions of the present technology maintain viscoelasticity at a temperature greater than about 80° C., preferably greater than about 100° C. or 110° C.
