Abstract: A tool holding apparatus includes a socket holder and at least one retaining knob. The socket holder is configured as an elongated body, wherein at least one channel that traverses into the elongated body is extended along the elongated body. The retaining knob that receives a drive socket or other similar tool apparatus includes a male body, a pedestal, and a base. The male body is adjacently connected the pedestal. The base is adjacently connected to the pedestal, opposite of the male body. The base and the pedestal are slidably engaged within the channel, and the male body is externally positioned to the elongated body thus allowing the engagement between the socket holder and the retaining knob. Abstract: A screw bit body which allows for efficient torque force application onto a socket fastener. The screw bit body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. The laterally-bracing sidewalls are radially distributed about a rotation axis of the screw bit body with each further including a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a bracing surface, and an engagement cavity. The engagement cavity creates a gripping point to prevent slippage in between the screw bit body and the socket fastener. The engagement cavity traverses normal and into the concave surface and the convex surface. The engagement cavity includes an angled driving portion and a concave portion. The angled driving portion is positioned adjacent to the first lateral edge with the concave portion being positioned opposite to the first lateral edge, across the angled driving portion.

  • Publication number: 20190375077
Abstract: An anti-slip fastener remover tool includes a torque-tool body and a plurality of paired engagement features. The plurality of paired engagement features that grips the lateral surface of the stripped fastener head is radially positioned around a rotation axis of the torque-tool body. The plurality of paired engagement features, wherein each paired engagement feature is offset by 30 degrees, comprises a first engagement feature and a second engagement feature. The first engagement feature and the second engagement feature each comprises a bracing section and a cavity section that are adjacently connected to each other. The cavity section of the first engagement feature is adjacently connected to the cavity section of the second engagement feature. The bracing section of the first engagement feature and the bracing section of the second engagement feature are oppositely positioned of each other about the cavity sections of the first and second engagement features.

  • Publication number: 20190337131
Abstract: A fastener extractor and dislodging tool apparatus includes a torque-tool body, a threaded opening, a plurality of engagement features, and a release bolt. The plurality of engagement features that grips the lateral surface of the stripped fastener is radially positioned around a rotation axis of the torque-tool body. The plurality of engagement features being perimetrically connected around a base of the torque-tool body thus delineating a socket body that removes the stripped fastener. The threaded opening traverses through the base so that the release bolt can be threadedly engaged with the threaded opening, opposite of the plurality of engagement features. When the stripped fastener is jammed within the plurality of engagement features, the release bolt can be threadedly moved into the space between the plurality of engagement features thus dislodging the stripped fastener from the torque-tool body.

  • Publication number: 20190283233
Abstract: A holding device for wrench sockets that provides additional securing means for the sockets. The holding device includes a planar housing and an at least one socket-attachment mechanism. The planar housing acts as a structural support element for sockets. The socket-attachment mechanism includes an at least one magnet and an at least one socket-engaging feature. The socket-attachment mechanism is integrated into the planar housing to attach sockets to the planar housing. The magnet extends from a first end of the planar housing to a second end of the planar housing to magnetically secure the sockets to the planar housing. Additionally, the magnet is internally mounted within the planar housing. The socket-engaging feature is preferably a plurality of socket-engaging features, wherein the socket-engaging features are distributed along the planar housing to interlock with sockets. Each of the plurality of socket-engaging features is integrated into a top surface of the planar housing.

  • Publication number: 20190152033
Abstract: A fastener extractor device for removing seized fasteners and aiding in disengaging the extractor device from said seized fastener afterwards. The extractor device includes a shank body, a drive head, a torque-tool body, a tubular sleeve, an external thread, and an internal thread. The torque-tool body includes a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls and an at least one engagement feature. The engagement feature is integrated into a specific sidewall to bite into a sized fastener. The drive head is terminally and concentrically connected to the shank body to receive an external torque tool. The torque-tool body is terminally and concentrically connected to the shank body, opposite the drive head. The tubular sleeve is slidably engaged along the shank body through the internal thread and the external thread to physically disengaged the torque-tool body from a seized fastener.

  • Publication number: 20190015961
Abstract: An anti-slip torque tool that utilizes a plurality of grooves to prevent slippage and facilitate torque transfer to a fastener. The tool includes a wrench torque-tool body and an at least one engagement element. The wrench torque-tool body includes a plurality of internal sidewalls, a first base, and a second base. Further, each of the internal sidewalls includes a bracing surface. The engagement element includes a first pair of grooves and a second pair of grooves, wherein each further includes a primary cavity and a secondary cavity. The engagement element is laterally integrated into a specific sidewall to provide additional gripping action. The first pair of grooves and the second pair of grooves are positioned offset from each other, along the bracing surface of the specific sidewall. The primary cavity and the secondary cavity each traverse normal and into the bracing surface from the first base to the second base.

  • Publication number: 20180354103
Abstract: A power driven direct drive ratchet/wrench tool allows a user to tighten and loosen fasteners in tight spaces efficiently and effectively. The tool includes a tool housing, a engagement body, a spur gear, a drive shaft, and a plurality of drive pins. The tool housing acts as the structural element and includes a ratchet head, a tubular handle, and a gear-receiving cavity. The ratchet head is terminally connected to the tubular handle. The gear-receiving cavity laterally traverses into the ratchet head and houses the spur gear and the engagement body. The drive shaft is rotatably mounted within the tubular handle. The plurality of drive pins is connected to a proximal base of the drive shaft, about a rotation axis of the drive shaft. In order to transmit torque, an at least one arbitrary pin from the plurality of drive pins is mechanically engaged to the spur gear.
