  • Patent number: 5009386
Abstract: A spring support for a clevis or a pipe in which a main central bolt and two additional auxiliary bolts on opposite sides thereof are used to prestress the spring, wherein tightening of nuts on the auxiliary bolts raise an operative member causing an initial compression of the spring, and subsequent tightening of the nut on the main bolt completes the compression of the spring and also relieves the spring pressure on the auxiliary bolts to thereby facilitate their removal, both of the aforesaid spring compressions being achieved without any change in the horizontal supported position of the pipe.

  • Patent number: 4887399
Abstract: The unavoidable "dead" space beneath a rooftop site installed air conditioner is soundproofed, as well as weatherproofed, by fiberglass boards wherein the sound passes through open wire mesh sides of the supporting curb of the air conditioner into absorbing contact with these boards, instead of reverberating off prior art solid metal walls which heretofore bounded this dead space.

  • Patent number: 4598503
Abstract: An improved arrangement of so-called upper and lower curbs with interposed springs having an interconnected condition allowing for their delivery to an installation site as a single modular section, and at said site each section bolted together and then readily released from each other to then allow vibratory movement in said upper curb relative to said lower curb on said interposed springs, and wherein the release is produced by the force urgency in the springs which dampen the vibration of the air handling unit which is mounted on the curbs.
