    Abstract: A turbine has a turbine housing with a receiving region, a turbine wheel which is disposed in the receiving region, a duct formed by the turbine housing, through which exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine can flow and which opens into the receiving region, and a tongue slide which has a tongue which is assigned to the duct and which can be displaced relative to the turbine housing about the rotational axis such that a flow cross section of the duct can be set. The exhaust gas which flows through the duct can be guided via the flow cross section into the receiving region and can be fed to the turbine wheel. The turbine is configured as a half-axial flow turbine in which a respective flow direction runs obliquely with respect to the axial direction and obliquely with respect to the radial direction of the turbine wheel.
