  • Patent number: 12049504
Abstract: Provided are humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies. In certain aspects, the humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies are capable of constituting an antigen binding domain of a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), where the CAR is capable of being expressed in a human cell such that the CAR specifically binds to HLA-A2. Also provided are CARs that include the humanized anti-HLA-A2 antibodies. Modified cells including the antibodies and CARs, as well as methods of using such modified cells are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8231440
Abstract: A sanding block for supporting an exteriorly mounted looped sanding belt having an elongated and planar shaped base. A planar shaped cover exhibits first and second oblique extending surfaces and, upon engaging with the base by a plurality of mating tabs and slots, collectively defines a three-dimensional article for supporting thereupon the looped sanding belt. A trigger exhibits a three-dimensional rectangular shape and extends laterally across a widthwise defined opening in the base in communicating fashion with an end surface associated with the cover, such that the trigger is positioned between the base and cover. The trigger is displaced in a first lateral direction to lengthwise displace the cover away from the base, the trigger displacing in a second and opposite lateral direction to reverse displace the cover inwardly towards the base.

  • Publication number: 20090057304
Abstract: A storage container including a lid having a rectangular shape with sides and ends defining therebetween a recessed interior, the lid including at least one resistively inter-fitting portion associated with a forward extending lip edge. A base corresponds generally in outline with the lid and includes at least one mating portion defined in an overlapping forward lip edge and which is arrayed in opposing and communicable fashion with the lid inter-fitting portion. The interfitting portions established between the lid and base are positioned opposite a rear hinged edge and provide tactile snap shut engagement of the lid and base.

  • Patent number: 7431171
Abstract: A two piece storage container including a lid having a rectangular shape with sides and ends defining therebetween a recessed interior, the lid including a plurality of spaced apart lips extending from a selected end. A base corresponding generally in outline with the lid and including an equal plurality of upwardly projecting hinge supports which are located proximate to an associated end of the base arrayed in opposing and communicable fashion relative to the lips upon positioning of the lid over the base. The lips are angularly supported within said hinge supports in a first open rotated position and, upon being rotated to a closed position, capable of being linearly displaced against said hinge supports to lock said lid to said base.

  • Publication number: 20080000800
Abstract: An assembly for establishing a multi-tiered display for supporting a plurality of loose items includes any plurality of trays, each exhibiting a substantially planar surface across which are interspersed a plurality of recess defining pockets. A height defining spacer insert is engaged between succeeding trays, the insert having a three-dimensional shape with a top and bottom. A first selected tray exhibits upper projecting cylindrical supports for locating and securing bottom perimeter locations associated with the insert. A second of the trays exhibiting at least one downward three-dimensional projection nestingly engaging a recessed top location of the insert, in a height adjustable fashion, and in order to define a specified distance between the recess defining pockets in the trays and in order to support items of different size and configuration.

  • Patent number: 5976042
Abstract: A hockey puck has a generally cylindrical body having an upper face, a lower face and a circumferential wall with a generally spherical puck element secured centrally within the body and being rotatable with respect to the puck body. In a preferred embodiment, the generally spherical puck element has a weight greater than that of the body and a diameter greater than the distance between the upper face and lower face. The generally spherical puck element is secured within an inner member which in turn has a ring disposed radially outwardly thereof and secured to the inner member. The puck is structurally designed to have the generally spherical puck element have translational and rotational kinetic energy while the body will have translational or translational and rotational kinetic energy. This results an enhanced ability to maintain the puck on the desired path despite roughness of the surface on which it is moving or certain types of impact with other objects.

  • Patent number: 5964350
Abstract: An assembly of interconnected containers includes a plurality of containers each of which has an upper portion connected to a lower portion by a hinge or hinges with the upper portion having a pair of elongated generally parallel upwardly open channels. The container also has a pair of generally parallel generally downwardly projecting flanges structured to engage an upwardly open channel of an adjacent container and adjacent containers have either at least one of the channels engaged by a flange of an adjacent container or at least one of its flanges engaged in a channel of an adjacent container or both. The channels are preferably open at at least one end so as to permit relative sliding removal and insertion of the containers from and into the assembly. The channels are disposed closer to each other than are the flanges. In one embodiment the upper portion has the upper sidewalls diverging downwardly therefrom and the lower wall has a pair of lower sidewalls diverging upwardly therefrom.
