  • Patent number: 12200034
Abstract: Examples disclosed herein include a social-media computing system receiving, from a first computing device, a first message indicating that a media playback system is associated with a first social-media account; and based on the received first message, sending, to a second computing device associated with a second social-media account, a second message indicating that the media playback system is associated with the first social-media account. The examples may also include the second computing device receiving, from the social-media computing system, the second message; and based on the received second message, causing display of an indication of the association between the media playback system and the second social-media account.

  • Publication number: 20210209562
Abstract: An analytics and device management platform includes a computer processor and instructions executing on the computer processor and causing the platform to obtain metrics from at least one endpoint. Each of the metrics is a quantification of a phenomenon detected in at least one of audio and video data obtained from an endpoint facilitating communication between meeting attendees. The instructions further cause the platform to generate indicators based on the metrics. Each of the indicators is a numeric descriptor derived from at least one of the metrics, and each of the indicators is of potential relevance to a user of the platform to inform a decision by the user. The instructions also cause the platform to determine at least one insight based on the indicators. The at least one insight is an indicator determined to be of relevance to the user to inform the decision.

  • Patent number: 10846345
Abstract: A notes service receives note items produced by various software applications. Each of the note items may comprise metadata, context data, and content representative of a note. The notes service, for each of the note items, stores a given note item in a note repository and updates a graph based at least on the metadata, the context data, and the content for the given note. As the notes service receives queries from the various software applications obtain relevant ones of the note items from the note repository, the service searches the graph for one or more note items relevant to a given query. The one or more notes are retrieved from the repository and provided in reply to the requesting application.

  • Patent number: 10560796
Abstract: An example implementation may involve a first playback device rendering audio content. The example implementation may also involve the first playback device detecting that a second playback device has been connected to a playback system. After detecting that the second playback device has been connected to the playback system, the first playback device may determine a playback responsibility associated with the second playback device. The determined playback responsibility may include a grouping with the first playback device. After determining the playback responsibility associated with the second playback device, the first playback device may direct the second playback device to render the audio content.

  • Patent number: 9694362
Abstract: A composting garbage disposal for under sink use in a kitchen which separates food waste items into liquid and solid components. The liquid components are directed to a standard sewer or septic system. The solid components are directed to a removable storage bin. The food waste items are separated by use of a motor driven auger member which is in close proximity to the inside wall of a screened cup so that the liquid exits the screened portion of the cup and the solid exits through an aperture in the floor of the cup. A microprocessor circuit senses the strain on the drive motor and if the strain becomes excessive, automatically reverses the direction of the shaft and auger thereby releasing excess food waste that is causing the excess strain.
