  • Publication number: 20060185294
Abstract: A muntin clip for use with a spacer frame or window sash having an elongated channel extending around an inner periphery of the frame. The disclosed muntin clip has a spacer frame or sash engaging body for insertion into a channel of the spacer frame. A flexible body portion flexes from a first configuration to a second configuration as the clip is pushed into the spacer frame to exert an outward force against walls of the spacer frame bounding the frame channel. The disclosed clip also includes a muntin bar engaging body attached to the spacer frame engaging body that includes a flexible portion that flexes as the muntin bar engaging body is pushed into the muntin bar to frictionally engage the muntin bar.

  • Patent number: 6980647
Abstract: Disclosed is a module (10) having pins (16-24) connected to respective conductor tower strips (46, 48, 50, 52). Pairs (46, 50 and 48, 52) of the conductor tower strips are spring biased toward each other to capture therebetween respective PTC current limiting elements (64, 70). A spring member 60 is connected to a ground pin (24) at one end, and to an overvoltage sensitive assembly at the other end, via a soldered heat transfer member (92). The overvoltage sensitive assembly includes overvoltage semiconductor devices (76, 77, 79) soldered thereto. When an overvoltage condition is sensed, the heat generated by the devices melts the solder between the heat transfer member (92) and the spring member (60), whereby lateral arms (90) of the spring member (60) move and engage the conductor tower strips (50, 52). The tip and ring pins (16, 18) of the module (10) are not only shorted together, but are shorted to ground.

  • Publication number: 20050150101
Abstract: An apparatus and method for holding an object by a one-piece clip includes the use of a base (101) having an opening (107) and a top member (113) having a grasping end (115) that extends into the opening (107) are described. The clip includes a bendable fulcrum (111) that elastically connects the base (101) to the top member (113). Tension produced by a bent bendable fulcrum (111) is utilized to hold the object between a base grasping end (103) and the top member grasping end (115). The one-piece clip can be manufactured by injection molding of a thermoplastic.

  • Patent number: 4096928
Abstract: A valve assembly for a shock absorber which has separate first and second channels for the opposite flow directions of the damping medium contained in the shock absorber includes at least one first valve and one second valve having a common shaft and arranged to control the first channel and the second channel, respectively. The first valve includes at least one resilient valve disc and a first spring biasing the resilient valve disc with the interposition of a valve body. The second valve includes a closing disc and a second spring urging the closing disc into a closed position. The resilient disc and the closing disc surround the common shaft. The valve assembly further has an axially displaceable valve cage being common to the first and second valves. The valve cage has a cylindrical portion surrounding the resilient valve disc for a centered guiding thereof. The cylindrical portion has an edge face which serves as an abutment for cooperating with the closing disc.
