  • Patent number: 12196127
Abstract: A rotary internal combustion engine includes a housing, a front cover, a rear cover, and a rotor. The rotor contains 2 or more pair of radially arranged, synchronously geared, crank shafts. The main journal of every other crankshaft has a timing gear at one end and a drive gear at the other. The timing gears mesh with a stationary sun gear fixed to the front cover. The rotor contains radial cylinder bores, each with a piston and connecting rod operably connected to each crankshaft. An output shaft with a sun gear pierces the center of the rotor and meshes with the drive gears. The rotor revolves around the output shaft within the housing which contains ports for intake, fuel delivery, spark, and exhaust. The crankshafts rotate at twice the rate of the rotor, thus producing four piston strokes per revolution of the rotor.

  • Publication number: 20240328539
Abstract: A mechanism for the support or suspension of a tubular member having a pair of mounting brackets including pivotally mounted receivers to threadingly engage a pair of threaded rods, a pair of threaded rods, a pair of supporting shoes, and a circumferential clamping mechanism to bind the shoes around the tubular member it is supporting. The mounting brackets may be configured to engage and rigidly clamp to universal strut channel. Threaded rod of desired length is installed at one end to the pivotally mounted receiver of the bracket and the other end to the support shoe. Fine elevation adjustment is achieved by adjusting the engagement between the threaded rods and shoes or adjustment of the span between brackets. The mechanism offers broad installation flexibility while minimizing supply side costs associated with packaging, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.

  • Publication number: 20240326969
Abstract: A hull fairing system for a water craft with a retractable drive mechanism including a vertically disposed deployment well integrated into the hull of the watercraft, a retractable drive mechanism, and a hull fairing matching the lower contour of the hull. The deployment well may incorporate draft to allow for a tight fit with the contour matched hull fairing when the drive mechanism is deployed and a loose fit through the retracted range. Further, the composition of the contour matched hull fairing may be of a suitable compliant material such as elastomeric compounds to provide an improved fit when deployed. The hull fairing itself is vertically constrained to the drive mechanism and travels up and down with it. The hull fairing need not be rotationally constrained and may therefore accommodate steerable lower propulsion units.

  • Publication number: 20240294243
Abstract: A transmission for a human-powered vehicle. The transmission has a primary system that includes a transmission case, a crankshaft with cog, a pair of receiver cranks, a pair of connecting rods, a pair of oscillating driver cranks, and a pair of pedals. A secondary biasing system is engaged with the primary system to provide a favorable torque around dead centers of the primary system. The transmission 150 may be configured to transmit power by driveshaft, chain, or belt to drive a wheel or propeller. In a watercraft application, an operator alternatingly applies force to a pair of pedals while seated close to the floor of a kayak 145. Power from the transmission is transmitted through a steerable lower gear case 134 via a propeller to propel the craft. The operator maneuvers the craft by means of a control lever 135 operably connected to the lower gear case by cables 136.

  • Patent number: 12008362
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing software resources such as machine learning/artificial intelligence models. The system includes a number of components that provide versioning services to both software resources and to data sets. A data storage component also addresses storage/retrieval functions for the system. A user interface element is also present to provide users with both a GUI and a command line interface. An assessment element assesses user selected software assets for project inclusion, with the assessment being based on good software development principles and practices. Once a project of selected software assets has passed the assessment stage, the software assets are pipelined for execution by an execution unit. The outputs of the execution unit are sent to a data output module automatically populates predetermined and preconfigured templates with the outputs to produce reports. The outputs may be final outputs or they may be intermediate results produced by the software assets.

  • Patent number: 11947445
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting operating parameters of at least one pipelined software asset. Within a pipelined environment, an agent software asset is inserted immediately preceding a software asset whose operating parameters are to be adjusted. The agent software asset receives data and/or data sets from a user and such data and data sets are inserted/used by the software asset. The agent software asset also allows for a reporting of the output of other software assets to thereby provide users with intermediate outputs from the pipelined environment.

  • Publication number: 20150331851
Abstract: There is disclosed a method implemented by computer for manipulating a sentence expressed in natural language comprising the determination of one or more destination locations in an initial sentence in response to the selecting of one or more words, said destination locations or “ghost locations” being determined by syntactic analysis of the sentence. Various developments include the display of the destination location or locations in response to the selecting of the word or words, and the display of one or more suggestions of words corresponding to the one or more ghost locations. Semantic validations by logical verification, by similarity and by graph analysis are described. System aspects are described, including the employment of a touch-sensitive tablet.

  • Patent number: 4420180
Abstract: The floor mat comprises a main portion for lying flat on an automobile floor and an upwardly inclined portion for lying on an inclined surface within the automobile, such as behind the pedals. The main portion includes a centrally disposed downwardly recessed area forming a pan having a floor and surrounding sides for catching fluid. A plurality of ridges, having a triangular cross-section, rise vertically from the floor of the pan for holding pants and the like above fluids caught in the pan. The forwardly extending portion includes ribs which extend in the longitudinal direction of the mat for channeling fluids backward into the pan. Additional ribs are formed on the forward portion which are inclined downwardly and inwardly for channeling fluid away from the edges of the mat toward the center of the mat.
