  • Publication number: 20210015271
Abstract: A retracting toy box assembly includes a box for storing toys, and the box has a track that is integrated therein. A spool is slidably coupled to the track, and the spool is positionable between a stored position and a deployed position. The spool is biased to rotate in a first direction and the spool is urgeable to rotate in a second direction. A mat is wrapped around the spool. The mat is unwrapped from the spool and extends forwardly from the box when the spool is positioned in the deployed position. In this way the mat can lie on the floor and toys can be positioned on the mat. Moreover, the mat can be lifted by a caregiver thereby facilitating all of the toys on the mat to be subsequently deposited in the box. In this way the mat assists the caregiver with putting the toys away.

  • Publication number: 20190064234
Abstract: Electrical data is gathered by a portable electrical energy consumption diagnostic device at a site. Each device is electrically connected into a respective electrical switchboard. One or more slave portable electrical energy consumption diagnostic devices can be connected to other switchboards at the same respective sites or other sites and communicates with a respective master device. Communication between master and slave devices is preferably wireless communication via a micro-network. Each master device communicates wirelessly electrical data obtained via the switchboard to a remote data collection server. The system identifies one or more electrical use or load features or characteristics and/or one or more electrical signature features of one or more electrical devices connected to an electrical circuit. One or more electrical devices is/are connected to an electrical circuit. Any electrical device connected to the circuit can be monitored and its electrical characteristics can be assessed.

  • Publication number: 20120003228
Abstract: The invention relates to means and methods for determining whether a subject is at high or low risk of autoimmune disease progression by determining the CD8 or CD4 cell subtype of the subject. Autoimmune diseases of particular interest include vasculitis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and inflammatory bowel disease. The invention also relates to means and methods for determining the CD8 or CD4 cell subtype of a subject, e.g. for predicting responses to infection, vaccination and/or transplantation.

  • Publication number: 20060157983
Abstract: The disclosed system, device and method for providing a substantially leak-proof tube/manifold seal generally includes a partially deformable polymeric ferrule (100), a retaining ring (110) and a nut (130) configured to drive and deform the ferrule (100) against a receiving manifold surface (144). Disclosed features and specifications may be variously controlled, adapted or otherwise optionally modified to improve tube seal seating and/or engagement. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention generally allow for the use of tube coupling hardware (e.g., ferrules) that would otherwise need to be reworked, replaced or discarded.

  • Publication number: 20060050768
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a protective circuit for monitoring the temperature of electric motors cooled by a coolant, wherein a sensor signal corresponding to the temperature of the motor is generated and evaluated by way of at least one PTC thermistor, an output signal being generated when the sensor signal exceeds a predetermined threshold value. Furthermore, the rate of change of the sensor signal is also determined, whereby the threshold value at which the output signal is generated is altered as a function of the rate of change.

  • Patent number: 4160338
Abstract: A toy doll has a mouth opening adapted to receive a simulated nursing bottle from which water is fed to the interior of the doll, some of such water producing a wetting action. The doll is also adapted to produce a burping sound when its back is patted, and simultaneously to spit up through the mouth opening some of the water previously fed from the bottle. The burping sound is produced by a bellows in the body portion of the doll which is successively compressed upon patting the back of the doll and which progressively feeds air into another bellows located in the head of the doll until the head bellows reaches an expanded position. An actuating member then automatically releases the air from the expanded head bellows, which air flows in a sudden controlled flow through a sound producing device. Some of this released air also causes liquid to be emitted from the mouth opening to produce the spitting-up effect.
