Publication number: 20170121039Abstract: The present invention provides a seamless capsule for delivering a material inside said capsule to a destination requiring the encapsulated material includes a shell having a uni-body construction with a fill aperture in a top portion to receive a predetermined material in a cavity defined by an inner wall of the shell. The shell has an outer wall with a predetermined configuration corresponding to the intended use of the seamless capsule. Further, the seamless capsule includes a cover integrally joined to the top portion of the shell to cover fill aperture in the top portion of the shell after the material is disposed in the cavity. The present invention also provides a method for encapsulating a material for delivery to a predetermined destination requiring the encapsulated material. The method includes the steps of fabricating a seamless shell with a fill aperture in a top portion to receive a predetermined material in a cavity defined by an inner wall of the shell.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 31, 2016Publication date: May 4, 2017Inventor: Paul M. Patent number: 8479656Abstract: A paintball includes first and second half shell portions, each with a recess that can hold liquid containing dyes or other marking pigments. The liquid in the second half shell portion is relatively viscous, or becomes so after being placed in the second shell portion. The second shell portion can then be inverted and the liquid will stay within it. Neither shell portion includes a barrier to hold the liquids in place. The second half shell portion can then be placed on and joined with the first half shell portion to form a paintball.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2009Date of Patent: July 9, 2013Assignee: Hydro-Caps, LLCInventors: Paul M. Ciesiun, Ronnie E. Bayless

Patent number: 7905181Abstract: A Bioluminescent Paintball 10 includes a shell 12 defining an interior cavity 14, a liquefied substance 16 disposed within the interior cavity 14, a phosphorescent material 18 disbursed throughout the shell 12 for providing a visible “tracing” effect when the bioluminescent paintball 10 is ejected from a paintball discharge device, a neutralizing agent 20 disbursed throughout the liquefied substance 16 for neutralizing calcium disbursed throughout the liquefied substance 16 thereby preventing light emission before the paintball 10 impacts a target, and a photoprotein 22 disbursed throughout the liquefied substance 16 for reacting with calcium disposed upon a target after the bioluminescent paintball 10 impacts the target, thereby rupturing the shell 12 and allowing the liquefied substance 16 to engage the calcium to produce visible light.Type: GrantFiled: October 15, 2007Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Inventors: Paul M. Ciesiun, Ronnie Bayless

Patent number: 7278417Abstract: A device 10 for illuminating luminescent paintballs before the paintballs are projected down the barrel of a paintball gun includes a conduit 12 configured to form a forty-five degree angle to promote the arranging of luminescent paintballs into a single row as the paintballs “fall” from an enclosure and into the conduit 12 to ultimately exit the conduit 12 and drop into a discharge mechanism, a plurality of ultraviolet lamps 14 that are positioned about an inner portion of the conduit 12 to illuminate the luminescent paintballs thereby urging the paintballs to “glow” in the dark, a “horseshoe” configured bracket 16 that disposes the lamps 14 at preselected portions of the conduit 12 that maximizes the exposure of the paintballs to ultraviolet light from the lamps 14, a low voltage D.C.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2006Date of Patent: October 9, 2007Inventor: Paul M. Ciesiun
