    Abstract: A task light including an aperture fluorescent lamp, a housing surrounding the lamp and having an opening aligned with the lamp aperture, and a reflector on one side of the housing opening for redirecting light back to the plane of illumination of the lamp to create a longer, more uniform illumination field for evenly illuminating a subject and acting as a direct-glare preventing visor.
