  • Publication number: 20180280903
Abstract: The purpose of stirring a can of paint or fluids before their use is to lift to the surface heavier paint matter that fall out of the solution and tend to settle to the bottom of the container. Manual paint mixing, blending and stirring paddles are flat and not mechanically designed to lift or push to the top of the container all the heavier paint/fluid matter settled to the bottom of the container. This invention is a device designed to lift or push up the heavier paint/fluid matter from the bottom to the surface while using a stirring or to-and-fro reciprocal motion. This manual device could be motorized to turn it at appropriate speeds in larger paint or fluid containers. One embodiment of this device can be attached or clipped to the foot of the common flat paint-stirring or blending paddle to transform it into a more effective paint mixing and blending tool.

  • Publication number: 20170080885
Abstract: Modern automotive bumpers are set behind esthetically-pleasing molded thermoplastic or polymer-based bumper covers that are easily damaged, cracked or scratched. Replacing or repairing them is very labor intensive; most of the manual labor cost is associated with restoring the bumper's or bumper cover's finish to match the original finish on the automobile. This invention is a device or system that can do away with expensive custom finishing of repaired bumpers and bumper covers. Additionally, this pre-finished device or system adds selected color, texture, patterns, pictures, or messages to the repaired and restored bumper or its cover without having to incur the expense of custom refinishing. The prefinished bumper fixer-styler allows the car owner to restyle the car's appearance too.

  • Patent number: 8863511
Abstract: This is a low-cost, ingenious, high-efficiency energy producing system from hydrokinetic energy in water waves, currents and tides. Cost advantages are due to the use of existing bridge structures to mount the water energy converter to withstand fierce wind and water forces.

  • Publication number: 20140210211
Abstract: Water turbines on the surface of moving water can capture hydrokinetic energy (HKE) from waves, currents and other flows. This invention uses a novel system to keep the horizontal-axis water turbines (WAWT) and vertical-axis water turbines (VAWT) operating on the surface of water by mounting them on bridge columns, seawalls, oil rigs, piers and similar structures to capture energy from the moving water next to said structures.

  • Patent number: 8733093
Abstract: In this invention, high-efficiency wind power generators are mounted on floats that are attached to bridge and other structures for generating electricity from hydrokinetic energy in water waves, currents and tides without submerging the wind power generators in the water. The use of bridge and other dual-use structures substantially reduces the capital cost necessary for installing this system to generate electricity in small as well as large amounts. Today, the systems for converting wind energy to electricity are far more advanced and efficient than existing systems for converting hydrokinetic energy. This invention could produce energy for water-transport vessels as well as for electric utilities.

  • Patent number: 8459020
Abstract: Highway bridge supporting structures that stand in large bodies of water are usefully employed in a novel manner in this invention to inexpensively extract energy from the water under the bridge using new and established apparatus. Alternate energy producing systems from water waves, currents and tides suffer from cost disadvantages incurred in designing and erecting expensive structures that hold them firmly on the ground under the water against fierce wind and water forces. This invention ingeniously uses existing or new bridge structures for mounting water-borne-energy to electricity conversion systems at much reduced cost. The invention will make water energy conversion systems more affordable and will turn existing and new bridge supporting structures into dual-use systems that can not only support bridge decks above but also produce useful renewable energy from the water below; today, bridge structures are not used in this manner.

  • Patent number: 7625152
Abstract: A roadway safety warning device, preferably in the form of a continuous, integrated, prefabricated, plastic, raised rumble strip (IPPRRS), preferably pigmented to serve as edge lines as well as a continuous shoulder rumble strip (CSRS), for roadways, including but not limited to highways, county roads, and streets. It is preferably provided as a strip which has a series of first areas and second areas, the first areas having a first height, the second areas having a second height, and the second height being different than the first height. The first and second areas extend substantially across the width of the strip. The first and second areas alternate substantially along the length of the strip. The strip is made of an abrasion-resistant material and bonded to the pavement. The devise warns the driver of the vehicle riding on it.
