  • Patent number: 5293416
Abstract: A radiography apparatus with which x-ray shadowgraphs are produced has a detector array in the form of a line or strip, and an x-ray radiator which is moved in a direction perpendicular to the line direction of the detector array for scanning a measuring field from different directions. The detector array accordingly receives x-radiation proceeding through the measuring field from different directions. A screen or slotted diaphragm having diaphragm shafts directed onto the detector array is disposed between the x-ray radiator and the measuring field, and blanks out x-radiation which is not useful for generating the shadowgraph image.

  • Patent number: 5264932
Abstract: A video processing system, of the type used for portraying x-ray images, has a filter circuit with a spatial-frequency high-pass filter characteristic, the filter circuit including an amplitude-dependent separating filter having outputs to which respective spatial-frequency high-pass filters having different limit frequencies and/or having different kernel sizes are connected. The spatial-frequency high-pass filters are connected to the output of the overall filter circuit through an addition unit, so that the respective outputs of the spatial-frequency high-pass filters can be combined in different amounts to form the output of the overall filter circuit.

  • Patent number: 5091925
Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics installation has an x-ray tube and an image processing and display system which includes a video camera connected to the x-ray image intensifier, an image memory, a spatial frequency filter and a monitor. A motion detector is connected to the image memory and to the video camera and controls operation of the spatial frequency filter to vary the filter effect so that the filter effect is greater in transillumination image regions having little motion than in regions having a higher amount of motion.

  • Patent number: 4803716
Abstract: An x-ray diagnostics installation for radiographs has a secondary radiation grid disposed in front of a holder for x-ray film. The secondary radiation grid is moveable during an exposure. Control circuitry controls the speed of movement of the secondary radiation grid dependent on the anticipated exposure time, such that imaging of the lamellae of the secondary radiation grid on the x-ray film is reliably prevented for all exposure times.

  • Patent number: 4550419
Abstract: The invention relates to a diagnostic radiology setup with means for suppressing stray radiation and with an image intensifier television chain with image storing means. There is provided a perforated diaphragm of radiation-absorbing material near the tube, which diaphragm can be introduced into the ray path selectively. Two image memories for an X-ray picture with a diaphragm and an X-ray picture without a diaphragm and an image processing system serve for comparing the image information of the two X-ray pictures to determine and eliminate the stray radiation component.

  • Patent number: 4319281
Abstract: In a device that photographs a television screen a plurality of lenses are adjacently arranged on exchangeable lens supports. In order to achieve a higher image frequency and in order to avoid operating errors during the positioning of the lenses, the disclosure provides that the lens supports carrying the lenses are positioned in the image recording apparatus in a waiting position, and are selectively shifted by means of individual drives into the active position; a television monitor is moved into the correct distance relative to the selected lens support via an additional positioning drive.
