  • Publication number: 20240340118
Abstract: A WTRU is configured to receive information to transmit uplink data indicating a first number of nominal repetitions and a first number of symbols for transmission in each of the first number of nominal repetitions. The WTRU is configured to determine a set of symbols associated with a first nominal repetition of the first number of nominal repetitions and is configured to transmit, based on the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition, a second number of actual repetitions in symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions and the symbols used to transmit the second number of actual repetitions are based on an occurrence of an event during the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions is determined based on whether the event is a COT and the COT is initiated by the WTRU.

  • Publication number: 20240340107
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for selective one-shot hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback by priority level. For example, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine a priority associated with each transport block (TB). The each TB may correspond to respective HARQ processes associated with downlink transmissions from a base station (BS). The WTRU may receive, from the BS, a request for the one-shot HARQ feedback with an indication of a priority selected for the one-shot HARQ feedback. The WTRU may generate a HARQ codebook for transmission of the one-shot feedback. The HARQ codebook may comprise one or more information bits corresponding to one or more TBs determined based on the indicated priority. The WTRU may determine, based on a number of the one or more information bits, a transmission power and transmit, at the transmission power, the one-shot feedback comprising the generated HARQ codebook.

  • Patent number: 12114309
Abstract: Systems, methods and instrumentalities may be provided for handling a user plane in a wireless communication system. The wireless communication system may be characterized by a flexible air interface. One aspect of the flexible air interface is that transmissions by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) in the system may have different quality of service (QoS) requirements, such as different latency requirements. The WTRU may adjust its behaviors based on the QoS requirements, e.g., by utilizing preconfigured resources, resource requests, self-scheduling, and/or the like, such that the transmissions may be performed in accordance with their respective QoS requirements.

  • Patent number: 12114196
Abstract: A method for a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU). The method including receiving from a network configuration information indicating multiple frequency layers for positioning reference signals; and at least one activated frequency layer from among the multiple frequency layers. The frequency layers may be associated with one or more carriers for data transmission, wherein the carrier is co-located with its associated frequency layer for positioning; and bandwidth parts (BWPs) within carriers for data transmission. The WTRU may receive from the network activation/deactivation information indicating activation/deactivation of any of a secondary cell (SCell) and a BWP. The WTRU may transmit information indicating, for example, a set of frequency layers used for positioning, wherein the set of frequency layers is enabled according to any of an accuracy requirement, a latency, a measured RSRP of one frequency layer, and a measured CSI-RS corresponding to BWPs being a threshold.

  • Patent number: 12114330
Abstract: A method for WTRU autonomous resource selection may comprise receiving a TX resource pool for D2D communication from a base station. The WTRU may sense one or more resources of the TX resource pool and determine resources for transmission of control information and D2D data, based on the sensing. The WTRU may then transmit, to another WTRU, the control information and the D2D data on the determined resources.

  • Publication number: 20240334503
Abstract: A method performed by a relay wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) includes receiving an indication of a change in state of a remote WTRU having a paging link with the relay WTRU, receiving a paging message from a network. The paging message includes a system information (SI) change indication, wherein the SI change indication indicates an availability of updated SI information from the network for the remote WTRU. The relay WTRU transmits the updated SI information to the remote WTRU based on the received indication of a change in state of the remote WTRU.

  • Patent number: 12108414
Abstract: Logical channel (LCH) may be multiplexed together based on one or more latency requirements. Mapping of LCH(s) to spectrum operating mode(s) (SOM(s)) may be based on SOM capability and/or LCH requirements. A WTRU may determine mapping based on one or more pre-defined rules. The mapping may be based on one or more requirements for the various type of traffic and/or SOM capabilities. A radio bearer may be mapped to one or more SOMs. The WTRU may be configured with a set of SOMs, for one or more, or each, radio bearer. The WTRU may dynamically determine, for example based on radio conditions, buffer status and/or other parameters, the SOM to use. Incompatible multiplexing of LCH may be reduced and/or avoided, perhaps based on using one or more transport blocks (TBs) mapped to the same physical layer (PHY). Traffic may be prioritized based on one or more latency requirements.

  • Publication number: 20240322979
Abstract: Described herein is a procedure for determining multiplexing behavior when multiple physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and/or physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) resources of different priority indexes overlap in time. The wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) determines a multiplexing indication applicable to a set of resources overlapping in time, at least one condition associated to the multiplexing indication, and multiplexes a subset of the resources based on whether the at least one condition is satisfied. Further described herein are solutions for selecting a grant on which uplink control information (UCI) is multiplexed in the case that no data is available for transmission and the grants are of multiple priority indexes. Also described herein are solutions for reporting accurate power headroom applicable to simultaneous transmission of PUCCH and PUSCH when the PUCCH and PUSCH may be of different priority indexes.

  • Patent number: 12101673
Abstract: A method and apparatus for receiving a broadcast configuration indicating when a change in a RAN function termination occurs is provided, for example, by a timer value. The broadcast configuration may be received from a satellite, blimp or other moving transmitter. A dedicated configuration may also be received from the serving cell. The dedicated configuration may include a preamble, a transient configuration and an indication of a layer 2 behavior. If a WTRU detects a change in RAN function termination, the WTRU may suspend any uplink data transmissions, apply the transient configuration and transmit the preamble to a target cell. • Publication number: 20240314835
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for enhanced channel access. Resources may be configured to enable load-based equipment (LBE) access in an otherwise frame-based equipment (FBE) network. LBE access may be, for example, LBT category four (Cat 4). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine whether an LBE resource is valid based on current channel occupancy. A WTRU may use an LBE resource as a function of a transmission priority (e.g., priority of the content of the transmission, for example a first PUSCH transmission may be associated with a first priority and a second PUSCH transmission may be associated with a second priority), transmission type (e.g., whether the transmission is for PUSCH or PUCCH, for DG-PUSCH or CG-PUSCH, for data or CSI or HARQ-ACK, etc.), requirement(s), and/or grant. A WTRU may use an LBE resource, for example, as a fallback resource.
