  • Patent number: 7966384
Abstract: A real-time interactive system and method for updating infrastructure information, and using the same to implement new changes to the infrastructure, can utilize a wireless enabled portable data collection device for capturing infrastructure information in the field at an access interface; an infrastructure information database containing previously recorded infrastructure information, if any; a remote server communicating with the portable data collection device and the infrastructure information database; wherein infrastructure information is wirelessly communicated to the remote server and the remote server controls a real-time interactive session with the portable data collection device to verify previously recorded infrastructure information, update the infrastructure information database with the current infrastructure information, and facilitate making the new changes using updated infrastructure information.

  • Patent number: 7873873
Abstract: In conventional testing, the user is using an on-hand computing device to control testing; however, for the present invention the user is at the access point and the computer is remote, e.g. nearby or in the technician's vehicle, and not being used by the user to run the tests. The present invention provides a means to conveniently connect a customer provided network access device, e.g. a USB “dongle” modem, via a wireless link to the remote computer, which is providing the test application. The computer is remote, and the remote module device extends the reach of the commercial dongle modem so it is not necessary to carry the computer to the test access point.

  • Publication number: 20100189425
Abstract: A device for emanating an active agent to the atmosphere comprising a first container holding a first liquid, a second container holding a second liquid, a collector, and an active agent, wherein an outlet from each container deposits the first liquid and the second liquid onto the collector whereby the liquids mix and react to generate heat and thereby volatilise the active agent
