    Abstract: Systems and methods for advertising animated images of an object employ a computer with a monitor screen for displaying the animated images and a player file loaded into the computer. The player file shows first and second movies simultaneously on the monitor screen. These first and second movies are composed in an authoring program in which (a) the first movie is a graphical element having a display area, and (b) the second movie is animated images of the object formatted for display in this area. The player file includes a functional control program that displays on the monitor screen a control element enabling a user to interact with the second movie as this second movie is displayed.
