Patent number: 11570700Abstract: An approach for preventing electronic devices from repeatedly attempting to register or connect to a mobile network when they are not permitted to communicate using the mobile network. Embodiments determine whether the electronic device and/or associated SIM is permitted to communicate using the mobile network. In response to determining that the electronic device and/or SIM is not permitted to communicate using the mobile network, the contents of the SIM are modified to prevent the SIM from providing, to other components of the electronic device, communication data used to make a connection or authentication request to the mobile network.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2021Date of Patent: January 31, 2023Assignee: Eseye LimitedInventors: Ian Marsden, Paul Mckenzie, Paul Marshall

Patent number: 10363377Abstract: A puller assembly for removing a shield from around a needle of a syringe. The puller assembly includes a grip component and a cap. The grip component has a tubular body defining an interior hollow which axially receives the shield. The tubular body has a slit that allows it to be forcibly shifted from a first arrangement to a second arrangement to change the size of the interior hollow. The tubular body includes a radial inner face with at least one radial inward projection for directly engaging the shield. The cap is grippable by a user. The grip component is held by the cap when inserted within a cavity of the cap during manufacturing installation, and when so held at least one radial inward projection of the grip component engages the shield for removal of the shield from around the needle when the cap is moved. A method of mounting a puller assembly to a shield around a needle is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: December 1, 2015Date of Patent: July 30, 2019Assignee: Eli Lilly and CompanyInventors: William G. Patent number: 9374882Abstract: An extreme ultraviolet light system includes a target material delivery system configured to produce a target material; and a beam delivery system that is configured to receive an amplified light beam emitted from a drive laser system and to direct the amplified light beam toward a target location that receives the target material. The beam delivery system includes a final focus assembly that focuses the amplified light beam at a focal location to enable interaction between the amplified light beam and the target material to cause the target material to be converted into a plasma that emits extreme ultraviolet light. The final focus assembly includes at least one transmissive optical element having at least one curved surface through which the amplified light beam travels; and at least one reflective optical element having at least one curved surface on which the amplified light beam is reflected.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2013Date of Patent: June 21, 2016Assignee: ASML Netherlands B.V.Inventors: Paul A. Patent number: 9340247Abstract: A pannier comprises a container portion and a connection system. Two connectors each have a portion rotatable between an opened position to allow the connectors to be installed onto the rod-like member, and a locking position in which the portions lock the connectors to the rod-like member, and a biasing member biasing the portions toward the locking position. The portions of the connectors each rotate about an axis transverse with respect to the rod-like member. The portions of the connectors are oriented so as to rotate in opposite directions with respect to one another when concurrently rotating to the opened position and concurrently rotating to the locking position. A strap connected to said portions of both of the connectors, the strap being positioned with respect to the container portion in a grasping position such that a pulling action on the strap concurrently rotates said portions to the opened position.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 2014Date of Patent: May 17, 2016Assignee: ARKEL OVERDESIGNSInventors: Serge Vigeant, Paul McKenzie

Patent number: 6612433Abstract: The device provides for the formation of a CD jacket using conventional or custom dimensioned paper by imparting a diagonal folding pattern to the paper to be used for the CD jacket. The folding pattern is imparted to the paper and a defined series of folding steps followed to yield the CD jacket. Reversing the last step in the folding sequence provides access to the internal pocket formed by folding the paper through an aperture in a top flap. Completing the last step in the sequence seals the internal pocket. The folding sequence may be imparted to the paper using printing or scoring or both to yield the diagonal lines on which folds are made.Type: GrantFiled: September 14, 2001Date of Patent: September 2, 2003Inventor: Paul McKenzie
