  • Publication number: 20150056350
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for the production of a composite frozen product in a container, the product being comprised of a frozen confection within an edible casing, wherein the apparatus comprises a forming element having an external surface corresponding to the internal shape of the container, the forming element being further characterised by a passage running through the forming element from an upper opening to a lower opening, the apparatus further comprising means for removing material from the passage of the forming element.

  • Patent number: 8495892
Abstract: Frozen aerated products are produced by providing two forming elements, providing at least one open cavity on a surface of each forming element, providing filling means for filling said cavities with a frozen aerated material at a temperature higher than the temperature of the forming elements, filling two cavities, one on each forming element, with a frozen aerated material having an overrun of between 10% and 130%, allowing the frozen aerated material to expand outside its cavity and moving the two cavities opposite one another so that the frozen aerated material in each cavity is pressed against the frozen aerated material in the other cavity. A stick is placed between the two filled cavities before the frozen aerated material in each cavity is pressed against the frozen aerated material in the other cavity.

  • Publication number: 20090011100
Abstract: A process for shaping a frozen confectionery product is provided, the process comprising: extruding a frozen confection from a filling means into a cavity defined by a mould block and a base; moving the mould block relative to the base; and removing the frozen confection from the cavity, characterized in that the cross-section of the base, when viewed along the direction of relative motion of the cavity and the cutting means, is not a straight line. An apparatus for performing the process is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20090011098
Abstract: A process for shaping a frozen confectionery product is provided, the process comprising: extruding a frozen confection from a filling means comprising a nozzle and a cutting means into a cavity which is in fluid communication with the nozzle; moving the cavity relative to the filling means so that the cutting means shears the frozen confection and thereby cuts it; and removing the frozen confection from the cavity, characterized in that the cross-section of the cutting means, when viewed along the direction of relative motion of the cavity and the cutting means is not a straight line. An apparatus for performing the process is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20080118618
Abstract: Process for moulding a frozen edible product wherein a mould cavity is filled with the frozen edible product through an opening, the surface of the mould cavity being at a temperature in the AFT range or below, the frozen edible product being subsequently released from the mould cavity characterised in that part of the surface of the mould cavity is at a temperature in the AFT range.
