Publication number: 20240080594Abstract: A speaker can have a main body with a generally spheroidal shape, which can be supported standing on its end. The speaker can include a subwoofer that faces forward. A plurality of mid-range drivers can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and radially outward. A plurality of tweeters can be distributed around the sub-woofer, facing generally forward and generally outward. The outer housing portion of the speaker can be covered with a fabric material. A user interface ring 162 can be touch sensitive to receive input, and can have a plurality of lights that can be illuminated separately to convey information to the user.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 5, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: Timothy David Williamson, Peter Joseph Hamblin, Maximilian Vincent Wozniak, Robert James Wilson, Wilson E. Patent number: 11144943Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for generating incentivizing notifications to complete an uncompleted listing. A draft completion system determines, based on data included in an uncompleted listing for an item, a set of status values for the uncompleted listing. The uncompleted listing os associated with a first account of an online service. The draft completion system determines, based on the set of status values, a first incentivizing notification for the uncompleted listing. The draft completion system presents, on a client device associated with the first account, a user interface including the first incentivizing notification and at least one user interface element that enables a user to complete the uncompleted listing.Type: GrantFiled: December 21, 2018Date of Patent: October 12, 2021Assignee: eBay Inc.Inventors: Krithika Sairam, Rahul Kyamaji, Karunanidhi Sethuraman, Bhumika Gupta, Paul Michael Taylor, SasiKumar Arumugam

Patent number: 10859468Abstract: A system for measuring the depth of tread of a tyre (5) on a wheel (2) of a vehicle (1) whilst the wheel is rotating and moving along the ground. A camera (3) captures images whilst the tyre rotates for at least the major part of its circumference. Light sources (L1 to L4) are spaced longitudinally and are directed at an acute angle to the path of the tyre, to illuminate the tyre whilst images are captured. The images are analysed by data processing apparatus (8) and the tread depth is determined from the length of shadows (12, 13) in the gaps (11) between tread blocks (10). The light sources are activated and de-activated sequentially in accordance with signals from longitudinally spaced sensors (S1 to S4) which detect the presence of the tyre, so that when an image is captured of a portion of the tyre tread, only one light source is activated to illuminate that portion of the tyre tread.Type: GrantFiled: October 21, 2014Date of Patent: December 8, 2020Assignee: Wheelright LimitedInventors: Paul Michael Taylor, William James Bradley, Willem Paul Beeker, Alexander Paul Codd

Patent number: 9057658Abstract: A sensor array (13) for checking the pressure of a vehicle tire while being moved over the array comprises two sets (14) and (19) of aligned, facing sensor members. The first set (14) of sensor members is formed by slits (15) cut into a plate of metal to form first fingers (16) connected in cantilevered fashion to a first base portion (17), which extend in the direction of intended vehicle movement to free ends (18). The second set (19) of sensor members is formed by slits (20) cut into a plate of metal to form second fingers (21) connected in cantilevered fashion to a second base portion (22), which extend in the reverse of the direction of intended vehicle movement to free ends (23). The fingers of the two sets are aligned and the free ends (18) and (23) are closely adjacent. Each finger is provided with a load sensing system (28, 29) which provides an indication of the load on the finger as the tire moves over the finger.Type: GrantFiled: July 23, 2012Date of Patent: June 16, 2015Assignee: Wheelright LimitedInventors: Peter Norman Rose, Paul Michael Taylor
