  • Publication number: 20210275015
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the disclosure, an add-on structure communicates with the mobile device to provide supplemental features to the mobile device for the conducting of one or more oculomotor tests at high signal to noise ratio. The add-on structure includes a stimuli providing portion. An application loaded upon the mobile device coordinate the interaction of the mobile device and add-on structure in the conducting of the oculomotor test. At least one of the add-on structure or the mobile device includes an infrared (IR) sensor and an at least one IR illuminator.

  • Publication number: 20120016683
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing interaction of multiple business process events by nesting the information from prerequisite events into a business process that is dependent on those processes to transact. In one embodiment, a business process comprises a first event that is launched by users, completed events or application calls and one or more secondary events that are launched by the first event. While the first event and secondary events are pending, the first event provides information which it has processed to at least a first one of the secondary events prior to completion of the first event. The first one of the secondary events begins processing the information prior to completion of the first event and the first and secondary events are then completed to conclude execution of the business process.

  • Publication number: 20120016704
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing interaction of multiple business process events by using management and transactional events, where the management event accepts initial transaction information, maintains state information, and initiates one or more of the transactional events. One of the transactional events receives initial transactional information and state information from the management event, performs a transaction based upon the initial transactional information and the state information, and provides resulting transactional information to the management event. The management event then completes execution of the business process based upon the resulting transactional information.

  • Publication number: 20120016682
Abstract: Systems and methods for automating and increasing the efficiency of business processes using multiple hierarchical role structures. In one embodiment, a method comprises defining two or more hierarchies, defining an approver for a business process where the approver is associated with at least a first role in a first one of the hierarchies and a second role in a second one of the hierarchies, and identifying an approver position within an organization where the approver position is associated with the first and second roles. The hierarchies may, for example, be selected from a hierarchy of functional roles, a hierarchy of legal roles and a hierarchy of level roles.

  • Publication number: 20070226030
Abstract: Systems and methods for automating and increasing the efficiency of business processes using a role structure which is preferably hierarchical. The hierarchical role structure defines a plurality of roles within several hierarchical levels. Various rights are associated with the different roles to enable positions which are associated with the roles to have access to particular business processes. Access rights can thereby be consistently administered across equivalent or similar positions. In one embodiment, the role structure is used in conjunction with a hierarchical organization structure to allow the organization structure to be searched for positions which are associated with a particular role. As a result, automatic signature loops which are not restricted to direct superiors can be implemented. The hierarchical role structure can also be used in conjunction with a hierarchical content structure to enable employees having different roles within the organization to access different information.

  • Publication number: 20070136294
Abstract: Systems and methods for automating and increasing the efficiency of access to data using inheritance of access rules within an organization based upon the relationship of positions within the organization and the roles associated with the positions. In one embodiment, a role structure is used in conjunction with a hierarchical organization structure to allow access rules to be inherited by some of the positions from other positions based upon the relationship of positions within the organization and the roles associated with the positions. Access rules can be applied across equivalent or similar positions, yet differentiated between distinct portions of the organization and the distinct roles associated with the positions. Consequently, particular access rules are not necessarily inherited by all of the positions subordinate to a particular position with which the rule originates, and are not necessarily inherited by all of the positions that are associated with a particular role.

  • Publication number: 20050187927
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying which of a plurality of roles is required to authorize a business process. In one embodiment, an approval matrix includes rows and columns, where each column defines a potential condition and each row defines an approval role. Each entry in the approval matrix is defined by a corresponding row and a corresponding column, and contains information defining whether the approval role in the corresponding row is required for the business process when the potential condition in the corresponding column is met. A set of conditions that apply to the business process is determined and a set of entries in the columns defining conditions that apply to the business process are identified. The approval roles defined by the identified entries in the approval matrix are then determined to be the roles required to authorize the business process.

  • Publication number: 20050086244
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically and selectively generating a hierarchical functional organization from a hierarchical operating organization structure. In one embodiment, a hierarchical functional structure is generated by first identifying one of the positions in the operating organization structure from which the functional organization will be generated. After the starting position is identified, the positions in the hierarchical operational structure that are subordinate to the first one of the positions and that have roles which have at least one functional level in common with the role of the starting position are identified. Each of these positions can be classified according to its associated role. The level of classification may be selectable to include the associated functions, specialties and/or skills. A hierarchical structure based on the functional roles of the identified positions can be generated based on the classification.
