Abstract: A traction battery includes a battery array having a stack of cells, wherein a first of the cells includes a terminal having a projecting portion extending from a body of the cell and a curved portion disposed on a distal end of the projecting portion. A busbar has a connecting portion defining a slot with a pair of first opposing sides and a pair of second opposing sides. The connecting portion further has a pair of flaps, each pivotally attached to one of the second opposing sides such that the flaps oppose each other. The terminal is mechanically joined to the connecting portion with the curved portion of the terminal in contact with at least one of the flaps.

Abstract: A portable pedestal air filtering device is provided. The device includes a filtered air generation head, a support riser for supporting the filtered air generation head at an elevation above a support surface.

Abstract: A portable air moving device capable of generating an adjustable intensity air flow is provided. The device includes a blower assembly and an intensity adjustment mechanism located within a housing and provides for adjustment of the air flow pattern generated by the device. In one embodiment, the intensity adjustment mechanism includes panels that can be manipulated to adjust the air width of the exhaust air stream. The air width may be increased to decrease the intensity of the air flow and/or the air width may be decreased to increase the intensity of the air flow.

Abstract: A stable portable fan capable of generating an exhaust air stream elevated above a support surface allowing the exhaust air stream to be directed as desired by the user is provided. The device includes an air generator assembly located within a polygonal column generating an exhaust air stream that exiting the polygonal column. The polygonal column of the device is used to disguise/conceal the fan.
