  • Publication number: 20120303940
Abstract: An embodiment includes a computer comprising a system board and a removable programmable storage device. If the system board is replaced, the removable programmable storage device may be transferred to the replacement system board for the automatic transfer of information to the replacement system board and configuration of the replacement system board. In one embodiment, the computer receives a start up command. The computer determines whether a firmware image on the system board matches a firmware image on the removable programmable storage device. Based on determining that the firmware images do not match (when the system board is replaced with a new system board, for example), the computer replaces the firmware image on the system board with the firmware image on the removable programmable storage device. After the check and replacement, the computer proceeds with boot sequences.

  • Publication number: 20110083733
Abstract: An electronics module docking system includes docking member removably coupled to a photovoltaic module. The docking system includes a first connector port electrically coupled to one or more photovoltaic cells of the photovoltaic module. The photovoltaic module is selectively coupleable to the docking member. The docking system includes a housing to enclose an electronics module. The housing may include second connector port that is selectively engageable to the power electronics module. The power electronics module and the photovoltaic cells are electrically coupled to one another upon selective engagement of the connector ports. The inverter housing is receivable by and removably coupleable to the docking member allowing the inverter housing to be removably coupleable to the photovoltaic module.

  • Publication number: 20070175611
Abstract: A cleaning system is provided for use with an operating fluid cooling system of an agricultural machine. The cleaning system includes an air plenum adapted to be attached to the cooling system. Fans provided for use in the cooling system exhaust air through the air plenum which has air outlets which direct air to individual mechanisms of the machine to blow away dust and debris from the mechanisms. Thus continuous cleaning of mechanisms during machine operation is enabled without the need for separate blowers, fans, or compressors and the expense and complexity associated therewith.

  • Patent number: 6744256
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and apparatus for testing opto-electronic devices. Test data is shifted into a first boundary-scan cell. A test is then launched from the first boundary-scan cell by outputting the shifted test data to a signal generator. The signal generator, in turn, provides conditioned test data to an opto-electronic transmitter, in response to the shifted test data and at least one constraint for operating the opto-electronic transmitter. Finally, a response to the test is captured.

  • Patent number: 5968191
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed for testing integrated circuit interconnect and measuring the value of passive component interconnecting the IC's. Each IC includes both analog and digital circuitry and is provided with a test access port and boundary scan architecture for selectively connecting components to an analog test bus and for testing for the integrity of interconnections. When connected with the test bus, a constant current is supplied to the component and the resulting voltage developed across the bus is used for identifying the value of the component. In a second embodiment each IC includes a pair of buses which permits measurement of the impedance of the switches connecting the components to the test bus.

  • Patent number: 5946742
Abstract: A urine reservoir is provided for a truck allowing a trucker to utilize the urine reservoir while underway and/or without having to detour from a highway while traveling thereby saving precious travel time and greatly increasing the efficiency of a trucker. The urine reservoir includes a holding tank with a fill system which includes a fill tube with an in-line carbonatious filter which helps eliminate foul odors from entering into the truck cab. The holding tank is positioned and mounted on the truck for quick and easy removal by use of wing nuts and a quick release fill tube disconnecting member. The level of the holding tank is monitored by a float mechanism which audibly and/or visually indicates to the trucker when the urine holding tank should be emptied. The holding tank also includes a deodorant dispensing device which either automatically or manually releases deodorant into an interior of the holding tank helping to prevent foul odors from emanating from the holding tank.
