  • Publication number: 20240119776
Abstract: A system evaluates currency in an area using image processing. In some examples, the system receives an image of an area from an image sensor, processes the image to identify at least one item of currency in the area, determine a value of the currency irrespective of validity, and counts the currency. In various examples, the system receives an image of an area from an image sensor; processes the image to identify at least one item of currency in the area; determines whether the currency has an error condition; and when the currency is determined to have the error condition, provides output on the error condition. In a number of examples, the system receives an image of an area from an image sensor; processes the image to identify at least one item of currency in the area; determines whether the currency is valid; and when the currency is determined to be suspect, provides output on the currency.

  • Patent number: 11928922
Abstract: An autonomous drop cart processing system is described. The system is configured to communicably couple with a drop cart that includes an array of cashbox data readers configured to interface with cashbox data transmitters associated with cashboxes inserted into compartments of the drop cart. As a result of this construction, the autonomous drop cart processing system can remove contents of each cashbox on the drop cart without needing to remove the cashbox from the drop cart in order to read the data from the cashbox data transmitter.

  • Publication number: 20220084344
Abstract: An automated machine 1 is provided to comprise a communications device 5 for receiving remotely operable signals emitted from a mobile terminal 10 to produce monetary signals corresponding to money amount data in the remotely operable signals, a bill acceptor 4 for validating bills inserted from the outside to produce the monetary signals when bill acceptor 4 judges the inserted bill to be genuine and for relaying the monetary signals from communications device 5, a control device 8 that has built-in program software to produce drive signals of the amount corresponding to the monetary signals in accordance with the program software when control device 8 receives the monetary signals from bill acceptor 4. In another aspect, communications device 5 may receive the remotely operable signals emitted from mobile terminal 10 to produce the monetary signals corresponding to the money amount data in the remotely operable signals and receive the monetary signals from bill acceptor 4 and send them to control device 8.

  • Publication number: 20210366222
Abstract: A system for processing output of at least one count sort machine evaluates data regarding cash box documents that are provided to at least one count sort machine. The system may determine one or more combinations of the cash box documents for one or more output containers using the data. The system may operate one or more movement mechanisms to move at least a portion of the cash box documents from one or more output ports of the at least one count sort machines to the one or more output containers based on the combination.
