Abstract: Horse hoof protection against thrush conditions is obtained by depositing onto the horse hoof bottom wall a synthetic organic resin such as a urethane resin through which a medicament that does not block cure of the resin has been, distributed for continuing hoof wall contact. The resin is suitably free flowing into place, conforms to the contours of the hoof bottom wall, and adheres to the wall when cured. The protection by the resin is resilient and softer than the hoof wall and acts to cushion the hoof against shock.

Abstract: This invention relates to an apparatus for dispensing a cord and comprises a housing having a cavity arranged to hold the cord. The housing also has a top cover and a bottom cover to enclose the cord. The dispenser further comprises a knob, handle or button on the dispenser, for example on the top cover or side for use in feeding the cord from the dispenser, an aperture that provides an outlet for the retraction cord to exit the housing, and a cutter near the aperture to cut the dispensed cord.

Abstract: A color-coded packaging system is provided where a set of different colors are selected with each color designated to signify a varying feature of a product such as a dimensions of a pouch for receiving instruments for sterilization. Printed information or indicia printed on that pouch are printed in a colored ink designating the size of that pouch. Multiple pouches of the same size are packaged in boxes which have information or indicia printed thereon in the same color so that the size of box contents can be readily determined by the color of the printing thereon. The storage area can also include designated color coded areas for placement of like colored boxes. The color coding of the storage area, the boxes and the content of boxes provides for easy selection of a desired product as a means for a quick visual inventory.
