  • Patent number: 11441179
Abstract: This disclosure provides methods and compositions for sample processing, particularly for sequencing applications. Included within this disclosure are bead compositions, such as diverse libraries of beads attached to large numbers of oligonucleotides containing barcodes. Often, the beads provides herein are degradable. For example, they may contain disulfide bonds that are susceptible to reducing agents. The methods provided herein include methods of making libraries of barcoded beads as well as methods of combining the beads with a sample, such as by using a microfluidic device.

  • Patent number: 11369848
Abstract: A golf club head having a milled planar strike face formed of oxidizable metal material and a plurality of primary grooves, and a first oxidation-prevention coating permanently covering at least a portion of the body. The primary grooves have toeward ends that may be unaligned vertically. A temporary user-removable cover may cover at least a portion of the oxidizable strike face surface area and obscure the view of at least a portion of the plurality of primary grooves, and may incorporate an opening to display a portion of the face and a portion of the plurality of primary grooves, a non-stick tab coupled to a periphery of the temporary user-removable cover, and/or an external layer of plastic-based shrink wrap. The temporary user-removable cover may be adhesively attached to the face to seal an underlying area from environmental exposure and inhibit oxidation.

  • Publication number: 20210361271
Abstract: A tool actuation connector includes a tool activation interface, a longitudinal lock interface and a rotation lock interface. The tool actuation connector includes a latching spring, an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve. The latching spring includes a plurality of spring hooks, for coupling with the tool activation interface. The inner sleeve is operable to longitudinally move relative to the latching spring. The inner sleeve couples the latching spring to the activation interface when the inner sleeve is located over the latching spring and releases the latching spring from the activation interface when the inner sleeve moves away from the latching spring toward the proximal direction. The outer sleeve is rotationally locked with the inner sleeve and is operable to longitudinally move relative to the inner sleeve. The outer sleeve is further operable to rotationally lock with the tool via the rotation lock interface.

  • Patent number: 10707796
Abstract: A system for controlling an electric motor which includes three coils and a rotor, comprising a motion-profile-generator for generating a rotor-motion-profile and for producing a position-command, a position-controller for determining a velocity-command and a position-feedforward, for determining a forward-velocity according to the prediction of the velocity required to reach said position-command. The system further includes a first summer for producing a modified velocity, a velocity controller, for determining a current-command, a velocity feedforward, for determining a forward-current and a second summer for producing a modified-current. The system also includes a commutator, for determining respective modified-coil-currents for each of at least three current-control-loops and for dividing said modified-coil-currents between the said current-control-loops according to the position of said rotor.

  • Publication number: 20190197367
Abstract: Triggering a prioritized alert and provisioning an action may include receiving historical data associated with a set of projects, the historical data spanning multiple consecutive time periods. A hierarchical data structure is generated that includes occurrences of performance factors in the historical data. Based on the hierarchical data structure, Bayesian scores associated with the performance factors are derived, the Bayesian scores representing likelihood of the performance factors occurring in a given project. The performance factors are ranked based on the Bayesian scores. Based on ranking, an alert and an action may be automatically triggered.

  • Publication number: 20170129274
Abstract: A mailer can include an envelope and an enclosure. A method can include: a) providing a blank with envelope and enclosure portions connected by a joint; b) folding and securing the blank such that the envelope portion forms a pouch, the pouch substantially containing the enclosure portion, the pouch being open at one end and having major surfaces, one major surface including the joint at or adjacent the open end, and another major surface including a closure flap extending from the open end beyond the joint; c) reversibly deflecting the flap away from the joint to thereby expose the joint; d) severing the joint while it is exposed; e) folding the closure flap and securing it to the one major surface to close the pouch and secure the enclosure within the pouch. An apparatus can be configured to carry out the above method.
