    Abstract: Briefly, and in its broadest aspect, the contact lens of the invention comprises a soft hydrophilic contact lens providing a distance and near prescription; said lens having an integrally formed bevel that provides a mechanism for translating the lens over the eyeball. Also, the bevel does not form a part of the optical portion of the lens.
