    Abstract: A drive assembly for a universal joint of the tripot type comprises a drive block and bearing rollers which are retained by two cage pieces which are mounted on the respective opposite driving sides of the drive block so that the bearing rollers on each driving side are retained by a single cage piece. The cage pieces are retained on the drive block by fastening the cage pieces to each other or to the drive block.

    Abstract: A telescopic tripot universal joint comprises an inner drive member which has three radial trunnions, an outer drive member which has three radial drive channels and three drive assemblies which comprise drive blocks, bearing rollers and cage structure to retain the bearing rollers which is attached to the drive block in a fixed relationship. The radial trunnions have outer radial projections which are disposed in outer radial grooves of the radial drive channels and engage radial walls in the member and prevent the drive assemblies from engaging or bottoming out on an inner end wall of the outer drive member.

    Abstract: Apparatus for securing a swinging end of a hinged door in a closed position is disclosed. A slidable latch assembly including spaced rollers for engaging angled contact surfaces extending from a door are all arranged with appropriate spacing to secure the door in position upon slidable displacement of the latch assembly. A complex pivoted latch handle is utilized to appropriately displace the latch assembly for either securing or opening the door.
