  • Patent number: 7061285
Abstract: A clock doubler including clock doubling circuitry for generating from a system clock a clock signal having a frequency substantially double that of the system clock and also having a pulse width and associated duty cycle is provided. Timing circuitry for generating a first signal indicative of the time the clock signal is low and a second signal indicative of the time the clock signal is high provides an input to comparison circuitry for comparing the first signal and the second signal. Pulse width varying circuitry varies the pulse width of the clock signal based on the result of comparing the first signal and the second signal.

  • Patent number: 6651085
Abstract: A system for notifying and updating status of selected customer agent includes a customer computer, a computer network, and a customer contact processing computer. The customer contact processing computer is coupled to the customer computer by the computer network. The customer contact processing computer includes a storage unit to store a status indication for each agent. The customer contact processing computer is responsive to an input from the customer computer over the computer network, which corresponds to a selection of at least one of the agents by a customer computer. The customer contact processing computer transmits over the computer network the status indication for the selected agents from the storage unit to the customer computer. The customer contact processing computer updates the status indication transmitted to the customer computer for the agents from time to time.

  • Patent number: 6252291
Abstract: An integrated circuit chip having a substrate with several overlaying metal layers. A lower metal layer is adjacent the substrate and an upper layer is spaced above the lower layer. The chip has circuitry including a number of circuit elements, and a number of access elements, each associated with and electrically connected to one of the circuit elements. Each access element includes first and second terminals in the lower layer, and an elongated span element in the upper layer. The span element has a first end overlaying and electrically connected to the first terminal and a second end overlaying and electrically connected to the second terminal. One of the terminals may be connected to provide power or a connection to the input or output of the associated circuit element. The chip may then be modified by severing the span element, or by connecting the span element to other circuitry on the chip to disable or enable operation of the circuit element.
