  • Patent number: 11912792
Abstract: The present invention relates to polypeptides which are covalently bound to molecular scaffolds such that two or more peptide loops are subtended between attachment points to the scaffold. In particular, the invention describes peptides which are high affinity binders of Nectin-4. The invention also includes drug conjugates comprising said peptides, conjugated to one or more effector and/or functional groups, to pharmaceutical compositions comprising said peptide ligands and drug conjugates and to the use of said peptide ligands and drug conjugates in preventing, suppressing or treating a disease or disorder mediated by Nectin-4.

  • Patent number: 10495604
Abstract: An apparatus (1) for detecting metal is equipped with at least one test device (2) with a non-metallic guide tube (21). Only a proximal end of the guide tube is connected to a pneumatic control unit (3). A distal end of the guide tube has at least one first ventilation port (211). A test article (7), having a known mass of metal, is movable back and forth between the proximal end and the distal end of the guide tube, at least through a section of an electromagnetic field, to verify operation of the metal detection The pneumatic control unit can use air pressure, either elevated above or reduced below the ambient pressure, applied to the proximal end of the guide tube in order to drive the test article back and forth, or only in one direction if it is returned by gravitational force.

  • Publication number: 20130257607
Abstract: A warning device includes a housing, a power source, a control unit, sensors and alarms. The control unit is in the housing. The sensors are operably connected to the control unit. The sensors detect the presence of an object in each of at least two designated detection zones. The alarms are operably connected to the control unit. The alarms are responsive to a signal from the control unit when objects have been detected in at least two designated detection zones. A method of warning of potential collisions including the steps of: defining at least two designated detection zones; detecting the presence of an object in the zones; determining when objects are present in more than one zone and determining if these are in defined potential collision combinations; and if the objects are present in the more than one zones and in the defined potential collision combinations then activating a warning.

  • Publication number: 20120191599
Abstract: An on-line content distribution system comprises a number of user terminals operable to enable a user to generate a request for a media file and associate the request with status data indicative of either a first status or a second status. An account database responds to receipt of a request from a user terminal to update account data, based on status data associated with the request. A content database stores media files and is configured to transmit data corresponding to the media file identified in a request by a user. The transmitted data may be formatted to inhibit the utilization of the transmitted media file more than a predetermined number of times without updating the account database. If the download request includes certain status data, it may permit utilization of the transmitted media file more than a predetermined number of times without updating the account database.
