  • Patent number: 7841270
Abstract: An accessory for a barbecue grill which automatically flips food over 180 degrees at desired intervals, and which allows the food to rest essentially on the existing grill rack surface when cooking. The system includes a food support rack, rack mounts, linkage, motor control and motor mount with a motor and an L-shaped drive shaft. The food support rack includes lower and upper racks of open mesh, with the food to be cooked placed therebetween. The rack mounts provide for rotatable movement of the food support rack and are located on an axis essentially coincident with one of the longitudinal edges of the food support rack. The linkage attaches the drive shaft to the food support rack. The linkage attaches the drive shaft to the food support rack and is adjustable to accommodate grills having a varying dimension from the grill rack surface to the top edge of the grill lateral wall.

  • Publication number: 20090095848
Abstract: System to easily install and remove hangers for a string of decorative lights around a house, while standing on the ground and without requiring the use of a ladder. The system is particularly intended for attachment to gutter lips. The system is comprised of two components: a spring-loaded hanger clip which holds the light string and an elongated staff with hanger clip actuator at the distal end to temporarily hold the clip until it can be positioned and installed on the gutter lip. The elongated staff has an actuating means which opens and closes the jaw of the hanger clip. In use, the user would first attach the light string to the hanger clip which grips it securely. The clip is then temporarily and securely attached to the elongated staff by inserting the clip onto the distal end of the staff. Utilizing the staff, the user uses the actuating means to open the hanger clip jaw and then positions the clip on the gutter lip.

  • Patent number: 6347780
Abstract: System to easily install and remove hangers for a string of decorative lights around a house, while standing on the ground and without the use of a ladder. The system is particularly intended for attachment to gutter lips, but could be used to attach light strings to a variety of surfaces found on buildings. The system is comprised of two components, a hanger clip which holds the light string and which has spring loaded jaws to attach to the building, and an elongated staff with hanger clip actuator at one end to temporarily hold the clip until it can be positioned and attached. The staff has an actuating means which opens and closes the hanger clip jaws. In use, the actuating means is used to open the hanger clip jaws, the clip is then positioned on top of the gutter lip or other surface, and then the actuating means is used again to close the hanger clip jaws, allowing the clip to be firmly attached to the gutter lip or other surface.

  • Patent number: 6155733
Abstract: A writing implement with three or more non-coaxial optionally selectable writing tips to produce lines of different thicknesses and to create unique and distinct "outlining" or "highlighting" effects. It is particularly adapted to be used on fibrous or felt tip type highlighter markers, but could be used on a variety of writing implements. The Meriting implement is comprised of a hollow low body supporting a fixed writing tip, a reservoir in the body holding a supply of ink, a series of two or more retractable tips slidably arranged alongside the fixed tip and adjusting means attached to each retractable tip to axially move each retracting tip to first and second operating positions, so that when moved to and locked in the first operative position, each retractable tip is extended with respect to the fixed tip, and when moved to and locked in the second operative position, each retractable tip is retracted with respect to the fixed tip.
