  • Publication number: 20250145301
Abstract: A propulsion assembly includes a first torque source coupled with a first shaft and a second torque source coupled with a second shaft. A coupler selectively couples the first and second torque sources. When the first and second torque sources are coupled via the coupler, in response to a command to decouple the first torque source, an unloading operation is performed to decrease the torque output provided by the first torque source to a threshold, and when reached, the first shaft is decoupled from the coupler. When the first torque source is coupled with the coupler but the second torque source is not, in response to a command to couple the second torque source, a speed matching operation is performed to increase the speed of the second shaft to match a speed of the first shaft, and when the speeds are matched, the second shaft is coupled to the coupler.

  • Publication number: 20250073056
Abstract: A menstrual reservoir device with valvular outlet allowing for the collection and controlled draining of blood from the vaginal canal during the menstrual cycle. The device is intended be inserted into the vaginal canal where it will fix into place and collect menstruation. The reservoir comprises at least one outlet and the outlet will preferably extend towards or past the vaginal opening. The inventive device comprises a valvular portion to prevent fluid flowing from the reservoir when closed and allows fluid to flow when open. Embodiments comprise two general embodiments of reservoir cups and reservoir discs. In menstrual cup embodiments, the valvular portion serves to release suction force during device removal; when the valvular portion is open, air may enter the reservoir through the outlet, displace fluid and release the suction force of the reservoir allowing for easy removal.

  • Patent number: 12233542
Abstract: A robot arm comprising: a first link connected to a second link by a joint, the joint permitting the second link to move relative to the first link; a motor for driving the joint; and a controller for controlling the motor. The controller is configured to electrically brake the motor in response to detection of a fault in the robot arm by applying a braking current to the motor so as to maintain the position of the joint against gravity. The controller only performs this electrical braking if the joint is in a configuration in which the robot arm will droop under gravity if the joint is not actively driven.

  • Publication number: 20250035763
Abstract: A system for the enhancement of sonar data is provided comprising one or more processors, a memory, and one or more sonar transducer assemblies configured to provide sonar data. The memory includes computer program code configured to, when executed, cause the processor(s) to receive the sonar data, with the sonar data providing information representative of an underwater environment around a watercraft. The computer program code is also configured to, when executed, cause the processor(s) to perform adaptive contrast image processing to adjust a brightness level or color of the sonar data at one or more locations and to form adjusted sonar data. Adaptive contrast image processing considers a distance of a location from a sonar transducer assembly of the one or more sonar transducer assemblies, a brightness level, color, water clarity, or depth associated with a location, an object type, or an orientation or surface properties of the object.

  • Publication number: 20250035058
Abstract: Changing a method to control engine operation is disclosed. The invention/system relates to an apparatus of an engine. We'll provide a similar process for how a mechanical system runs. Using today's method, engines have dedicated operation to use fuel constantly. An operating system using the present mechanical method has problems. Engines waste most of the fuel. The present method has an explosion (pulse) when an engine rotates 90°. It's about 3? apart along the ground in high gear. Engines fire before top dead center (TDC) but by the time the crank rotates to 90° after TDC pressure reduces to about 300 psi. Pressure drops ½ (600 drops to 300 psi in labs) after explosions. Rapid cooling from 900° F. depletes pressure. Lab data shows near 300 psi at 90° after TDC. Videos show a decrease in 100ths of a sec. An electronic system makes dynamic operation changes.

  • Patent number: 12198839
Abstract: A pitot tube includes an outer tube extending from a first tube end to second tube end. The second tube end defines a tip portion of the pitot tube. A tube sleeve is located inside of the outer tube and defines a tube passage extending from the first tube end to the second tube end. A heating element is located between the outer tube and the tube sleeve. The heating element is isolated from airflow into the tube passage. A method of forming a pitot tube includes installing a heating element to an outer surface of a tube sleeve, the tube sleeve defining a tube passage of the pitot tube. The tube sleeve is secured in an outer tube such that the heating element is between the tube sleeve and the outer tube and is isolated from airflow through the tube passage.
