  • Patent number: 12182867
Abstract: An exchange computer system can implement a method to implement a minimum processing time to provide a more balanced and equitable environment for trading. The exchange computer system receives a first message related to an electronic order determines a first time at which the first message is received, and applies a time stamp indicative of the first time. A minimum processing time is determined for processing message(s) related to the electronic order. The exchange computer system determines whether a time elapsed from the first time satisfies the minimum processing time and blocks transmission of the first message until the time elapsed from the first time satisfies the minimum processing time. In some cases, the exchange computer system can also determine whether a second elapsed time from the first time satisfies the minimum processing time, and upon satisfaction, transmits the first message.

  • Publication number: 20240290448
Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for a longitudinal cardiology patient history timeline and clinical decision support system. In one example, a computing device comprising a display screen displays a menu listing one or more electronic medical records (EMRs) of one or more patients, and additionally is configured to display a patient timeline graphical user interface (GUI) accessible from the menu while the one or more EMR systems are in an un-launched state. The patient timeline GUI displays patient data as longitudinal medical history event elements. The computing device is additionally configured to generate one or more activities based on the patient data. The patient data is obtained from the one or more EMRs and the medical history event elements are selectable to launch a pop-up window with additional information relating to the selected event.

  • Publication number: 20210050086
Abstract: The present invention includes methods and systems for generating an optimised workout plan for an individual based on the individual's genetic, physiological, behavioural and lifestyle data. By taking an individual's genetic and environmental data into account, a workout plan can built from individual exercises and exercise parameters in a way that is optimised for the individual's physiological traits.

  • Patent number: 9576359
Abstract: The subject invention provides a method for detecting and analyzing the hair follicles on a scalp to assist with hair follicle transplantation. The methods of the subject invention are able to count the number of hair follicle groups and the number of follicles within each group based upon a microscopic image of a sample from a human scalp. An algorithm is then used to cluster the follicles and generate a neighboring connected graph to calculate the inter object distances. A report can then be generated that provides information regarding the density, placement, and percentage of hair follicle type in different areas of the scalp. This report can be used to generate a hair follicle transplant strategy to assist a physician or robotic system.

  • Patent number: 8717179
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device, system, kit or apparatus for use with a child or stroller for detecting the removal of the child or baby form the stroller. The present invention may have a fixed plate secured to the frame of the stroller and a flexible plate in close association with a seat of the stroller. The fixed plate and the flexible plate are attachment to the stroller such that they are substantially parallel to each other. A sensor mounted on the fixed plate is engaged directly or indirectly by bending of the flexible plate due to the weight of the child or baby in the seat of the stroller. When the weight of the baby or child is removed from the seat, the flexible plate disengages the sensor due to the flexible plate being biased to maintain its original shape and an alarm is activated.

  • Publication number: 20070058229
Abstract: The invention features a volumetric display system. A light beam representing an image is provided from a stationary source. A projection screen is rotated, relative to the stationary source, about a rotation axis. The light beam is projected onto the projection screen at a non-normal angle of incidence. The light beam is manipulated to reduce distortion in the image caused by projection of the light beam onto the projection screen.

  • Patent number: 5350890
Abstract: A switch assembly including a base member and at least one pair of conductors provided on the base member which are to be electrically connected. An outer baffle extends over the base member and the conductors and is comprised of a conical wall having a key formed at the apex thereof and an outward flaring pad at the bottom thereof for engagement with the base member, the outer baffle including a recess beneath the key opening toward the base member. An inner baffle is dimensioned to be positioned within the outer baffle and includes a conical wall having a plug at the apex thereof and a pad formed at the bottom thereof. The plug is dimensioned to be received within the recess of the outer baffle such that the conical walls of the outer baffle and the inner baffle are symmetrical about a common axis. The pad on the inner baffle is spaced a predetermined distance above the base. A conductive element is provided on the inner baffle to electrically connect the conductors when the outer baffle collapses.
