  • Patent number: 11639622
Abstract: A defense mobile device for securing a door during shelter-in-place situations. The device includes wheels rendering it mobile and stops that, when activated, hold the device stationary. A panel has a ballistic core that resists bullets, a front face, an opening, and a cover positioned over the opening to overlay and enclose a door knob protruding through the opening. The front face forms, or has affixed to it, a writing surface. The panel pivots between a plurality of angled positions to facilitate writing and an upright position flat against the door. A locking rod, rotatably connected to the panel, pushes and pulls the panel between its angled positions and its upright position. A portal defined by a ballistic door viewer or viewport is located in the panel and permits viewing or observing through the panel. A release system is configured to deactivate the stop and enable the device to move.

  • Patent number: 9532736
Abstract: A portable electronic device is to be operated by a user with tinnitus. The portable electronic device is used to determine a primary phase cancellation tone that corresponds to the user's primary tinnitus, and a secondary phase cancellation tone that corresponds to the user's secondary. The portable electronic device outputs the primary and secondary phase cancellation tones at an output device based on input from the user.

  • Publication number: 20110086555
Abstract: An electrical terminal block including a mating face and a loading surface that are spaced apart from each other along a longitudinal axis. The mating face extends along a lateral axis. The terminal block also includes first and second sidewalls that face in opposite directions and extend between the mating face and the loading surface. Each of the first and second sidewalls includes a wing member that projects therefrom along the lateral axis and a recess configured to receive a wing member from another terminal block. The wing members and the recesses have matching complementary cross-sections taken along the longitudinal axis such that the wing member on the first sidewall of one terminal block is slidably and securely received within the recess on the second sidewall of another terminal block.
