  • Publication number: 20230177616
Abstract: A system and method for processing an insurance claim for damage to a vehicle, home, or other property. Image data of the damaged property may be examined, with an insured's permission or affirmative consent, by a processor using a machine learning technology to determine the amount of damage; determine a repair or replacement cost; generate a proposed insurance claim and initiate processing the insurance claim; and perform additional actions relevant to handling the insurance claim or assisting the claimant. The additional actions may include estimating a repair or replacement cost and time; identifying a repair service; determining an availability of repair parts and appointments; identifying one or more salvage services; identifying settlement options; and identifying temporary replacement property (e.g., rental vehicles or hotel rooms). The processor may receive and account for GPS location of the damaged property or the insured's mobile device, and/or the forecasted weather for that location.

  • Publication number: 20110307188
Abstract: A method for collecting and evaluating driving related data, comprising using one or more sensors associated with a handheld mobile device to automatically collect driving data during a data collection session; and using one or more processors to execute computer readable instructions stored in non-transitory memory to calculate, based at least on the collected driving data, one or more metrics related to the driver's driving behavior, and display on a display device the one or more calculated metrics related to the driver's driving behavior.

  • Publication number: 20100005074
Abstract: A method is disclosed for accessing data stored in at least one database, comprising: accessing: model data, representing a model defining the structure of the data, metamodel data, representing a metamodel defining the structure of the model, and rule data, representing at least one rule for accessing the data, said at least one rule specifying at least one constraint in terms of a property of the metamodel; processing the rule data, and accessing the data in said at least one database in dependence on the processed rule data. Related systems, methods and computer systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4320453
Abstract: A control section consisting of an address processing circuit and two sequencers for use in a programmable microprocessor. The address processing circuit has two sets of input lines and one set of output lines, and is adapted to convert address information provided at the input lines into a signal at the output lines which consists of microinstructions suitable for use in other portions of the microprocessor. Each sequencer is connected to one set of input lines of the address processing circuit and is adapted to receive data from an external source and provide address information corresponding to such data to the address processing circuit. In operation, the signal provided at the output lines of the address processing circuit consists of time-division multiplexed microinstructions, each such microinstruction being derived from one of the two external sources.
