  • Patent number: 10577058
Abstract: A bottom plate for a marine boom includes a main plate extending in a first plane. The main plate has first and second ends with first and second sides extending there between. The first plane is defined by a longitudinal axis extending between the first and second ends and a lateral axis normal to the longitudinal axis and extending between the first and second sides. Top and bottom surfaces are bounded by the first and second ends and the first and second sides and extend parallel to the first plane. At least one lug is attached to the main plate and extends in a second plane generally perpendicular to the first plane. The lug includes a flange defining an aperture aligned generally parallel with the lateral axis, where radial thickness of the flange increases toward the main plate and decreases away from the main plate.

  • Publication number: 20120003046
Abstract: One embodiment of a fish guidance and exclusion barrier having an upper reticulated section (10) imbricated by a lower reticulated section (12) which communicates with the upper section. The upper and lower sections are attached in an above water position to a floating device (24) with the lower section being suspended from the floating device utilizing funicular leads (22). The funicular leads are affixed to the floating device with latch type connectors (20) attached to loop type mounts (18) and to the lower sections with latch type connectors attached through grommets (16). Other embodiments are described and shown.

  • Patent number: 6093990
Abstract: A form fitting motor cover (1) for TEFC motors having a cylindrical body with a periphery of 255 degrees which when flexed outwardly can be placed over a motor (4) casing and upon release will cause said cover to adhere to, and form around said motor casing to keep debris, splash and spray off of motor casing and improve efficiency of air flowing between the cover and the motor cooling fins (6). The motor cover has at either or both ends of the motor an attachable covering end plate (3) and a conduit box cover (2) which can be attached to the cover by any suitable method.
