  • Patent number: 12005236
Abstract: An apparatus includes a housing, an actuator, a lock mechanism, and a medicament container. The lock mechanism selectively engages a portion of the housing such that (1) the lock mechanism is maintained in a substantially fixed position when the housing is in a first orientation and (2) the lock mechanism is removable from the housing when the housing is in a second orientation. The medicament container is moved in a proximal direction when the lock mechanism is removed from the housing to mix a first medicament portion contained within the medicament container with a second medicament portion contained within the medicament container. The actuator can be moved from a first position to a second position when the lock mechanism is removed from the housing to release energy stored within an energy storage member such that the medicament container is moved in a distal direction.

  • Patent number: 11929160
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes receiving a signal associated with a characteristic of an actuation event of a medicament delivery device. The method includes establishing a communications link (e.g., via a short-range wireless protocol), between a mobile computing device and a medicament delivery device. A wireless first signal associated with a first motion profile of the medicament delivery device is then received from the medicament delivery device. A second signal associated with a second motion profile of the mobile computing device is generated. The method then includes producing a notification via the mobile computing device when A) a magnitude of the first motion profile is outside of a first threshold and B) a magnitude of the second motion profile is outside of a second threshold.

  • Patent number: 6006796
Abstract: A system to prevent accidental discharge of hot-mix asphalt at asphalt plants with multiple silos includes a closed circuit TV camera and a system of flashing lights. The TV camera has a fixed view of the loading area with a monitor at the control panel. When hot-mix asphalt is to be discharged into a truck, a switch is activated which causes a light beneath the bin to flash. This identifies the bin selected to open. The TV monitor is viewed and the position of the truck can now be visually confirmed along with the flashing light on the bin that has been activated. A second button must be pushed in order to complete the discharge of the hot-mix asphalt from the bin. Ideally, the second button is located either on the monitor or as close to it as possible in order to force the viewing of the screen before activating the second switch.

  • Patent number: 5343405
Abstract: Automatic extraction of pulse parametrics from multi-valued functions, such as a digital serial communications signal, is achieved by building up an eye pattern data array from multiple acquisitions of the multi-valued functions. One axis of the data array represents amplitude and another represents time, and the contents of each element of the array represents the number of times a data point occurs within the amplitude-time interval represented by the element during the multiple acquisitions. After the data array has been built, histograms representing summations of selected elements of the data array are obtained. From the histogram information the pulse parametrics are determined, such as amplitude levels for the various states of the signal as well as the characteristics of transition paths between states.
