    Abstract: An improved turbocharger assembly is provided wherein the turbocharger components can be assembled quickly and easily along a single axis and at a single work station without requiring inversion or other special handling of partially assembled components. The turbocharger assembly includes a center housing and associated rotating components adapted to mount in stacked succession onto a turbine housing, followed by installation of a compressor housing to complete the turbocharger assembly.
