Patent number: 11166597Abstract: An interdependent pair of kitchen tools designed for cutting, shearing, gouge cutting, or shredding specific meat and fibrous vegetables such as squash and slow cooked meats, along with leafy greens, deli meats, and hardboiled eggs. The tools exist as two forklike subassemblies, each comprised of respective distal handles, distal tine arrays, and pivotally enabled geometries. The subassemblies exist in two functional states allowing for two food conversion user modalities. The first functional state exists as a disconnected state amongst the subassemblies wherein the first user modality features opposing linear forces levied from respective subassemblies onto foods residing on a horizontal surface.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2018Date of Patent: November 9, 2021Inventor: Paul Santarsiero

Patent number: 9259757Abstract: A delivery device delivers a repair compound from a container with which it is assembled, and includes an integral smoothing tool or blade part. The container has an opening end finish, allowing the repair compound to enter, and extrude from, a nozzle part of the delivery device when the container is squeezed. A portion of the blade part exhibits transverse flexibility to facilitate smoothing of a deposited repair compound. The blade part also functions to effect closure of a terminal end orifice of the nozzle part, typically having a closure plug that enters the orifice to form a seal when disposed, by flexure of the blade part, in a closing position relative to the nozzle. Alternatively, the blade part may be capable of linear articulation to achieve closure at the nozzle orifice, and the sealing element may comprise a flat surface. The device enables one-handed setup, dispensing, closure, and smoothing of a deposited repair compound.Type: GrantFiled: September 27, 2013Date of Patent: February 16, 2016Inventor: Paul Santarsiero

Patent number: 8861714Abstract: The holder for a hand-held electronic communication device is lightweight and comprises a perforated faceplate and a base of ergonomic form symmetrically constructed for ambidextrous, hand-held use, shoulder support, and surface support in both portrait and landscape orientations. The faceplate incorporates two clamping mechanisms, one being operative for fixing its gripping part in selected positions of extension from the faceplate and the other dynamically adjusting to position its gripping part for cooperatively clamping the communication device therebetween. A peripheral gasket on the front of the faceplate cushions and positionally stabilizes the mounted device, and is formed to promote the projection of sound waves from under the mounted device. The base may have holes and/or an internal acoustic baffle to further promote the projection of sound waves from its cavity, and holes in the faceplate and/or the base may enhance aesthetic attributes.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2014Date of Patent: October 14, 2014Inventors: Leonard M. Leibenhaut, Paul Santarsiero

Publication number: 20140026758Abstract: A means of suspending flavor medium(s) within a pitcher or vessel containing a consumable liquid. The flavor medium(s) is retained by a removable, substantially central stem(s) which locates to and extends into the vessel. The stem(s) can be made of Stainless Steel, wood, or plastic and be flexible or rigid. The stem can be configurable to be āUā shaped, helical shaped, zigzag shaped, or other shape that aids in retaining fruit, herbs, or other desirable flavor medium(s). The stem functions to hold flavor medium(s) in place while submerging them and while pouring from the vessel. The flavor medium(s) are to be pierced or held under tension while submerged, and function to transfer flavor enhancement to the vessel's beverage with proportional strength to the length of time they are allowed to meld. The insertion of the stem and flavor medium(s) inside the vessel also functions to create an aesthetically pleasing presentation.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2012Publication date: January 30, 2014Inventor: Paul Santarsiero

Publication number: 20120272921Abstract: A Kinetic, reconfigurable modular structure having hollow track sub-components and an internal motioning device(s). The invention employs multiples of 1-5 unique modular hollow track part(s), each connecting to one another. A more basic version would use one repeatable, multi-positional modular track part. Both versions employ at least one internal motioning device(s). These modules connect securely to one another to create a multitude of 3-dimensional, rollercoaster-like tubular structures. The outer structure along with the internal motioning device(s) will easily rock or roll to and fro. The track modules assemble to create end-to-end structures or continuous loop structures where the internal device navigates throughout the structure. A continuous slot can be incorporated into the track modules to allow for unobstructed contact with the internal device. The internal device(s) can be battery powered thus allowing for self-propelled motion, vibration, sound, and/or lights.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2012Publication date: November 1, 2012Inventor: Paul Santarsiero

Publication number: 20100252021Abstract: Disclosed is a grill having a firebox with an open upper end upon which rests a cooking grate. A burning chamber is disposed within the firebox and below the open upper end for containing a burning fuel material. A lid is hingedly affixed to the firebox and liftable to access either the grate or the burning chamber. A capture mechanism enables the lid to engage the grate such that when the capture mechanism is in a disengagement condition the lid may be lifted independently of the grate to access the grate, and when the capture mechanism is in an engagement condition lifting of the lid causes simultaneous lifting of the grate off of the firebox to allow access to the burning chamber.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 31, 2010Publication date: October 7, 2010Applicant: Jordan Kahn CompanyInventors: Donald Bryce, Felix Wong, Paul Santarsiero
