  • Patent number: 5067636
Abstract: A container assembly has a load-supporting outer container and a collapsible sack inner container with a hose spigot received in an externally threaded outer spigot of the outer container. A valve is attached to the outer spigot to enable emptying of the inner container which is not connected to the upper wall or filling aperture of the outer container during transport and storage to prevent tearing of the inner container or discharge of the containers of the inner container into the outer container by the transport and storage stresses.

  • Patent number: 4966293
Abstract: A transport and storage container for flowable materials has an outer enclosure formed with a gridwork of vertical and horizontal bars which surround a plastic inner vessel. A pallet is formed by a similar gridwork and the supporting feet are at least in part formed by downwardly bent portions of the grid bars of the bent pallet which are connected to extensions of the vertical bars of the outer enclosure, e.g. by welding. The supporting foot may be bent from these portions or may be constituted by an angle member welded thereto and a reinforcing plate or sheet can be welded to the downwardly bent portions for greater stability.

  • Patent number: 4959190
Abstract: The process for making a plastic container by blow molding of a tubular parison made of a thermoplastic material, includes guiding a tube into a divided open blow mold, closing the blow mold and feeding pressurized air in the tubular parison squeezed off in the blow mold. However in the open blow mold which has a suitable receptacle at least one single-piece hoop ring made of thermoplastic material which could be made with usable tolerances by injection molding is mounted on the section and bonded with the tubular parison. An unsorted container ring which has an outer collar is used in the process and is fed to a preheat station in which the container ring is made stress-free and simultaneously is oriented in a plane.

  • Patent number: 4880138
Abstract: A blow-molded drum body has a cover fitted over this neck and provided with an outer wall with a shoulder clamped against a connecting ring affixed to the body during the blow-molding thereof. The T-section ring has an upper flange overlapped by the cover and a lower flange which is thicker than its upper body so that a clamping ring fitting over the shoulder and the web of the connecting ring can bear upon the overlapping region of the outer wall of the cover and hence indirectly upon the upper flange, but directly upon the lower flange.

  • Patent number: 4817811
Abstract: The outlet device for a fluid container comprises an outlet pipe and an outlet hose attached with the outlet pipe so that the outlet hose is replaceable. The outlet hose can be a foldable rubber or plastic hose and is attached inside the outlet pipe. The outlet pipe is closable exteriorly by a cover. The outlet hose folded together in front of the cover is lockable inside the outlet pipe by a clamping device.

  • Patent number: 4795057
Abstract: The transport and/or storage container comprises a container base in the shape of a pallet with a plurality of planks positioned parallel to each other having a plurality of supporting surfaces, an inner container in the form of a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape plastic tank with a plurality of rounded edges and corners and a supporting container which at least peripherally surrounds the inner container. The supporting container has a supporting container jacket comprising a plurality of vertical and horizontal steel rods which are welded together at the crossing points of the steel rods and are connected in an upper steel frame by welding. A lower steel frame having an L-shape cross section is attached with a horizontal flange on the supporting surfaces. A plurality of flat steel bars running substantially parallel to the planks of the supporting surfaces and/or transversely or diagonally are welded to the lower frame of the supporting container.
