A gaming station and a wagering station may be incorporated into the same gaming console, with the wagering station positioned behind a portion of the gaming station that is to be occupied by an active participant in a game. Each gaming console may include a public display monitor that may provide passive participants in the game and passersby with a wide view of the game. Gaming consoles may be grouped together such that their public display monitors may collectively provide different portions of such a wide view of the game.
