Abstract: The present invention relates to wood laminate panels, a system of two or more panels joined permanently together, the method of making the panels and the fabrication of object with the panels. The wood laminate panel comprises an elongated body having a longitudinal axis and extending a length thereof, the body having an arcuate cross-section in a plane substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis and comprising first and second spaced apart edge surfaces extending along the length of the elongated body and each including a joint, the attachment joint having a shape that is complementary to that of the second edge surface such that the wood laminate panel is permanently jointable with an adjacent identical laminate panel through an engagement of adjacent complementary edge surfaces.

Abstract: A temporary, dismountable or reusable portable post (2) for a closure (21), such as a gate, comprises a base (1) for carrying the post (2), wherein the post has at least one pivotal connector (13) for connecting to the closure (21). The pivotal connector (13) is axially adjustable along the post so that it is possible to align a pair of adjacent closures (21) even if the base (1) of one is at a different level from the other. This may be achieved by the post including a threaded bar (12) on which the pivotal connector (13) is provided.

Abstract: A sport boot is provided that is suitable for, but not limited to, use as a snowboard boot. The sport boot includes an outer shell and an inner liner received within the outer shell. The outer shell includes an outsole and a protective upper affixed to the outsole. The inner liner includes a cushioning midsole and a flexible upper affixed to the midsole. Unlike conventional sport boots that place the midsole between an insole board and a shank on the outer shell, the present invention incorporates the midsole onto the inner liner directly under a rider's foot to provide a level and more stable platform. With the midsole built into the inner liner, there is an improved relationship between the horizontal plane a rider's foot lies in and the horizontal plane of the midsole. When attached in this manner, a rider's foot and the midsole more effectively remain in parallel planes, which improves the overall comfort and performance of sport boot.
