  • Publication number: 20050146139
Abstract: The invention relates to a flange connection, in particular for connecting the measuring pipe (6) of a measuring device for fluid substances to a process pipeline (4), comprising a flange disc on the device side (22) and a flange disc on the line side (22a), the flange disc on the device side (22) having an inner circumferential surface (24) and an outer circumferential surface, and it being possible for the pipe wall of the measuring pipe (6) to be formed, at least at the end zone of the pipe (8), by layers of different materials lying one on top of the other, and is characterized in that the pipe wall of the measuring pipe (6) has a radially outwardly pointing formation (12) at the end zone of the pipe (8), and in that in the installed state axial tensile forces can be transmitted from the flange disc on the device side (22) to the measuring pipe (6) via the formation (12).

  • Publication number: 20040167655
Abstract: A method and model-predictive controller that takes raw overlay registration data from a metrology tool, such as the KLA-5200 metrology tool, and estimates process disturbances. Once these disturbances are estimated, the controller regulates them to zero, resulting in precise control of overlay. The controller includes a state estimator which is configured to estimate the following system states: wafer x-translation, wafer y-translation, wafer scale in x, wafer scale in y, wafer rotation, wafer non-orthogonality, reticle magnification, asymmetric magnification, reticle rotation, asymmetric reticle rotation. The controller includes a regulator which is configured to regulate the system states to desired targets.

  • Patent number: 6650958
Abstract: An integrated process tool monitoring system for semiconductor fabrication. Specifically, a process tool parameter auditing system, where a process tool user need not run a different verification system for each process tool type used and need not download parameters every time before a semiconductor device or material is to be processed by the process tool.

  • Patent number: 6624734
Abstract: An internal heating method for drying, gelling and final curing of epoxy resin insulation systems used for encapsulating dry type cast distribution transformer coils is disclosed. The internal method uses a Direct-Current (DC) power source to control and supply DC current to resistively heat the transformer coil encapsulated with a liquid resin under vacuum in a mold. DC current is applied to a given coil based on its conductor cross-sectional area and its epoxy resin quantity to achieve a specified temperature for drying, gelling and final curing. The temperature, controlled by DC resistive heating is maintained for a given period for each step.

  • Patent number: 6324851
Abstract: A cryostat for a superconducting transformer is provided that includes non-conducting load bearing insulation and is adapted for use with a superconducting transformer. In addition, the cryostat prevents the formation of closed loop stray currents on its outer case. The cryostat contains the winding sets and other related electrical equipment of a transformer. The cryostat generally comprises a cryogenic tank having an outer wall, a non-conducting liner, and a load bearing insulation layer disposed therebetween. The tank holds a liquid or gaseous cryogenic coolant into which the components of the transformer are immersed. A plurality of passages allow the passage of the limbs of the iron core of the transformer through the tank.
